Still a great mouse to be fair

Is that the newer one with the replacable sides or the grid only? Either way it’s a nice mouse so enjoy.

I’ve had some lemon cake today, quite enjoyed it too :lemon:

The Naga was my first MMO mouse and I loved it, but it failed me after about a year, it just wasn’t up to the task. It was a great mouse while it lasted though.

cool
was it good?

Only issue with Razer Naga’s is reliability. 2014 one in particular has 2 common issues.

  1. Double click issue where the clicks will register double clicks, sometimes due to capacitance built up in the clicks, can be temporarily fixed by unplugging the mouse and letting it discharge, but it’s generally from worn or faulty switches. A lot of mice use these same switches tho, not just Razer, the Logitech Naga copy has the same switches. The most recent version of the Naga has the optical switches so problem solved.

  2. The lazer becomes intermittent as the solder on the circuit board dries out and breaks circuit over time (especially from impact creating small cracks in the solder), only way to fix this is to take the mouse apart and heat up the solder joints where the laser connects to the board to cause them to liquify and re-set. Alternatively you can add a tiny bit of solder to each point… But when the Laser does start doing this you’re probably on borrowed time, as it will happen again and again until more frequently.

Otherwise the mouse is amazing, but just not great build quality. There are other issues like the mouse wheel click becoming intermittent or unresponsive on the down click, and occasionally the numpad may become unresponsive on some or all keys, though that’s more common with the more recent Naga with the changeable sides.
