I’m trying to get back into WoW, I really am. But I just cannot seem to move past the Shadowlands story, especially what happens with Sylvanus and Arthus. I’m trying, but I just can’t. It’s…just so bad.
I really want to like WoW again, but this makes it so hard.
Please let SL canonically be a N’zoth fever dream. 
The chances seem pretty good that they are closing that chapter in 10.0 and moving on to a very, very largely independent new story. But until then? Shadowlands isn’t going away. If you can’t look past it you might be better off waiting till next year.
My fear with this is that by “independent new story” we will end up with something that barely resembles Warcraft (again).
