I just got kicked from my first dungeon

so i just returned to the game since Cataclism bcs i herd that resto shaman is good again so i buyed the game boosted shaman lvled him to lvl 51 and Qed to the dungeon 1 think i noticed that we had lvl 59 tank and lvl 60 dps i think it was hunter
i was healing nothing bcs i was lvl 51 healing 59 but looked like he didnt eaven need healing there where some close called in the dungeon but nobody died unil i somehow died to some AOE or somethink and than our lvl54 dps followed after me i ressed at the entrence and run back to ress the dps at that time tank didnt eaven fall to low hp but like 1min after i ressed that dps i got kicked

There was nothing sayed in the chat at all and i dont know where thay angry that one person died it looked like thay culd do it in 2 ppl or maby thay hated that i was dpsing in downtime untill that point i nevet let anyone die

Is this comunity realy that toxic. i have seen in many other games i never seen ppl kick someone from lvling content just bcs thay made mistake or if thay where doing something stupid thay pointed it out not just kicked without saying a word. if this is how the game is it’s realy dumb

Dont take it personally. There is always bad people, but there are also nice ones.

Keep playing healer, dont be discouraged! :+1:

Install deadly boss mods addon! It can help you avoid stuff.

You died on easy content, that means you weren’t paying full attention or were standing too close to the boss.

the kick system is not healthy, and people can abuse it for whatever reason.
-if 3x friends in group they will vote kick you to get a better player even if you did nothing wrong.
-many randoms doesn’t even read and press accept when any message pop-up at screen.
-it’s sad to see veterans kicking a newplayer even if he/she failed once or accidentally ninja pulled.

Its a normal dungeon D, its still pathetic that people kicked a new player over that. That isn’t right, people should still have a chance to learn.

Saying that, I would suggest OP finding either a guild/community or friends in game who can run content and don’t let this or the forum responses bother you.

Welcome back to the LFD experience™.

Enjoy your stay!

Seriously though, it gets better. Way better. Just learn to avoid those queue systems like the plague and find groups via the world and group finder and guilds and you’ll have a great time.

Whenever I go on the forums QQ’ing about the existance of LFD… this is whom I’m worried about. She got led into a trap via a convenient button and got an awful experience to the point where she might quit the game.

And she’s not the only one this happens to. By a long shot.

Best just forget it and go on, they aint worth it…
We had similar thing in Halls yesterday with a low healer, she died and also dc’d. She felt so sorry but we all had a laugh and just continued.
Best to focus on such players and trust me there are plenty of nice cool chilled players as well

As a healer, at least read a guide before you go into a SL dungeon for the first time.

And install some add-ons. QE will give a brief description of the boss mechanics, DBM’s will shout warnings, and weak auras might help you see stuff so you can pro actively heal.

Healing is the hard job in low level dungoeons (tanking gets harder when u have to know route, mob count, etc).

As others have said, pay no attention to what happened in one dungeon. You were unlucky and it sucks.

Well, the thing is that if you tell people you doing something wrong or we need to remove you due to those reasons. They are just ganna curse or black mail you so best to do is don’t talk or just ignore them if they start w you.

That is not really a people fault, blizzard taught them that every millisecond counts, there is no room for failures and laid back approach is not welcomed.

That mentality propagated throughout entirety content difficulty structure including M+, mythic raids, rpvp all they way down to leveling, normal dungeons, normal raids.

That and pray those are not 3 people from the same guild or 3 russians.

My recent experience in normal dungeon

Healer - hey rogue your dps sucks.
Healer - guys this rouge is leeching.
Meanwhile I inspected rouge and he seems kinda new player to me.

Healer started to vote kick with reason ******* - people actually read and pressed decline.
He keep trying again and getting annoying.

Someone started vote kick and removed him.

Also we had some 200+ tank just doing his daily.

Gj did your team.
Pathetic healer

Yeah, especially on low end content like leveling dungeons. I mean I get it if people kick someone from heroic/mythic raids and M+ (not the best idea though in M+ lol) but in leveling content? You can easily clear those dungeons with 3 people alive… no need to kick someone. I wouldn’t even mind someone dying over and over and over again in leveling content as long as they’re not afk following someone.

How elitist has this community become to even consider kicking someone from low level dungeons? Just lol…

Lol this takes me back to when i was leveling my paladin in blackrock spire and i got kicked without a word after i had ressurected somone.

This is becoming so stupid. People don’t accept anymore any error, for any content.
Back in BFA i have seen new tank been flamed after an error (while he had warm at dungeon start he was new).

And for people that say you should read x guides before make a step in a normal dungeon, just stop. Game must be a self-learning experience. It’s a Blizzard fail if isn’t.
