Did you had a situation when somebody died behind your back just when you turned around for a moment?
My example. We came to spider infected mine in north-western Silverpine forest. A troll hunter was farming these outside and only alive ones were inside, so as a party of two we came inside. Seeing that hyperspawn is a thing we desided to head out, killed 2 spiders respawned near entrance but there was that troll dead on the ground. Seemed that hyperspawn took care of him. Maybe if we stayed outside he could be saved.
Had a special experience but he survived. In a kill quest where you must loot candles near a cave, a player was standing at a spawn and wanted to claim it. I stood there for a moment looking around for something and immediately the message “Don’t even think about it” “Go on” came up. Already a nice impression I thought. An hour and 2 levels later, this player runs towards me with 2% health and 2 mobs on his cheek. What do I do, I heal and save his life. No reaction, no thanks, just nothing. So there really are people like that, what the hell.

Yeah happened to me back on unofficial hc, i was doing the skull rock quest (if you know the place you know it’s a death trap). And I saw like a poor little lvl 11 warrior, the poor thing was almost being 1v1 by a random voidwalker alone. I thought i should whisper him to tell him “beat it, get away from there, or you are not seeing the next surnise”
But I didn’t, I didn’t want to patronize him
One minut later I ran into him again, hi was deep in the cave, with very low hp and the named on his back, and he was freneticaly running around in all directions, getting in and out of the water, desperately trying to lose the agro.
I tried to help him by attacking the named (and, to be really honnest with you, i also had in mind if hi dies, im getting the tag), but it was too late, he got slaughtered in front of my eyes (and i got to get the tag for myself).
Even though in the end I did what I could to help him, I cannot prevent myself to think, maybe if I’d warned him like I thought I would in the first place, he would have lived a long and happy life.
