I’m just worried the Evoker heal has so many overlapping abilities/mechanics with MW, from today and previous expansions, that it will completely kill MW’s viability. Unless MW is given the right attention, to the spec’s lore and potential utilities, we may well be making Pandaren Feasts in Dragonflight.

I too am worried about Evokers…
But the talent trees published so far give me some hope that we’ll come out ok. Maybe we’ll be able to spec for interrupt again. Maybe we’ll have a real choice of melee or ranged without needing totally different gear sets. At the least, I hope that we will continue to be identified as a HPS healer and therefore have higher HPS than, say, shamans or paladins.
That said, if the MW tree comes out last and lacklustre, I’m swapping to something good for DF. I love this class, but I still haven’t forgiven 9.0 and I won’t let the devs do that to me again.
