The first second are when you take the most dmg and also every cc is rdy, you always want to trade insta on CD to get that up for the next big offensive (and save your healer’s trinket).
Arcane mages damage is just out of this world though.
I opened up on an arcane mage, I stopped every cast I could until I ran out of ways to stop him from casting, the other DPS on my team did so as well.
Still the other dps got blasted into oblivion by the mage. We just couldn’t stop him from casting long enough to get anything back to stop him when he tries to cast again. Once he could cast he just destroyed the other dps on my team. Dumb as hell. He just stood there tanking it while his healer was burning through mana and stuff and still won just because he 100-0’d the other dps on my team pretty much instantly once he got to cast.
Damage in PvP in general needs to go down a ton. We’re playing with time to kill that’s close to or similar to FPS games, which is just stupid in a mmorpg.
Thats nether flux talent has 15 sec cd there’s no option with a good healer to oneshot the mage before oneshot you. I have a tons of healer, this arcane burst is out of control
From 0 to 100 and then 100 to 40 is not a big nerf . Look at the numbers. Ive bet, 8 million noncrit is becuse he put curse of weakness with amplify curse
60% nerf is big nerf. I dont see any nerfs on retri or ww or mm. I dont think mage will be biggest threat to me after season begins and that nerf goes live. I’m more concerned of why retri/ww/mm dmg going live without nerfs on them then. Mage already got nerfs on them across all specs so now lets nerf the rest of classes that are still without one. Funnily they even nerf locks two times before done nothing on retri. Even dh seems bonkers, had the pleasure to play warlock in 2x dh, feral lobby. Pvp balancing couldnt be more worse.
