I lost all motivation to farm mounts = play the game

I have played the game since release.
My true goal as far as i can remember was to farm mounts. I played wow like others played pokemon. i wanted to catch them all. I since then i have played supercasual every expansion. but i have played alot.

The last 3-4 expansions have been overflooding with useless grinds and mounts you dont want and never going to use for any other reason than to have them. paragon forcing you to do weekly long grinds noone ever wanted etc.

The other problem for me is that the amount of mounts i never will be able to get is getting so many i lost count.

Mounts for seasons in both pve and pvp. raids pre patch. all the exclusive temp expansions . its hard / impossible to earn them all if you are going to have a life on the side of playing. besides all the million gold coin farming ones.

All this i would be fine with, if it was not for the fact that they now are gone forever.

Im not grumpy or angry or anything. im just saying this is the reason i now quit playing. why chase a dragon that you can never get.

If i can get back in the game and have the opportunity ( even if i never will) to get them all i will start playing again.

I felt literally the same, and that’s why I quit farming (spending time playing) mounts in Shadowlands. They made too much of them, and huge amount of recolors. I have over 800 now. Mounts almost has no value right now, because of recolors. We don’t have even an achievement for over 600 mounts, when there are over 1k mounts in the game, and that’s pathetic. I don’t have a goal anymore, and I’m not motivated. They destroyed it tho.
