Love her. She is black (yet still mixed race with pointy ears), disabled, half-blind, short-haired tomboy, apparently a lesbian AND a religious sceptic. Check, check, check, check, check, check. With all these attributes checked you don’t even need to write a compelling character with a nuanced personality. Usually when it comes to video games I feel very under-represented, but she is LITERALLY ME, a socially maladjusted NEET characterized solely by uncommon abnormalities. Thank you Blizzard for creating this STUNNING snd BRAVE character and giving it such a prominent role in this expansion.

on top: her voice actor doesn’t fit at all. She might be a good VA for other franchises but Warcraft is non of them, well maybe as a very minor side character.
I almost always throw up when I hear “THE LYNX”. How bad this line was delivered is beyond me. No second take? No? Nada?
She is everything that is wrong with Blizzard, no, what is wrong with gaming in general.

I did the Arathi questline and I don’t understand why Blizzard are trying to push this bland “why can’t we all just get along” character.
I get that Blizzard want a strong female/disabled etc. character and that’s fine, but Faerin is awful and has no personality other than being some peace activist who is meant to be a seasoned fighter but also loves everyone and takes care of cats and orphans.
