I love how "IGNORE" doesn't block target macro spamming idiots like this

Is there any reason why IGNORE doesn’t block their bloody target spam…?

Probable oversight. Send feedback to the devs so they may work on it.

I suspect it’s so that on the off chance you meet a person you ignored in a raid or dungeon, you aren’t the only person who can’t see their markers.

While you probably won’t see them in LFD/LFR, you might in pugs.

Not a fix related the ignore but could you remove that yellow txted announce from the chat from settings to the chat window? I think its that target icons, I have the ping system disabled from options too though.

I wonder if matchmaking system groups us with people we ignore?

My list is growing everyday thx to all the toxic healers in SS, is that why my ques are getting longer and longer?

literal never seen this kind of message

If you ignored the player you will not be matched with them in PVE content.

In PVP content it will only mute them, which means you can be matched with and against them.

But as it seems as Beerwolf posted there’s an oversight…

I were also thinking that not likely as it would enable people to dodge opponents they dont wish to face, but I didnt care answer as were not sure if it were serious question seeing the healer remark.

Makes sense, thx.

And I’m 100% serious.

I play WoW on and off since TBC and had like 3 ppl on my list. Now after 1 season of shuffle it’s more than 20, all of them toxic healers.

I can agree that toxicity has been slowly increasing >_> the amount of extremist threads that keep popping up lately too is just…

What in the actual Sam Hill is that and more importantly…

WHY!!??

I also like the NPC yelling “You can’t stop us!”, almost as if it’s yelling at the spammer

Same with the healing threads sadly, they attack the poster of some issues of healing in some mode instead of addressing the issue but thats another topic. I hope all see eventually what really matters and that we all would like shorter ques instead of ppl just insulting each other when some try make discussion of it.

No worries.

But did you stop the houndmaster?

Probably because those messages aren’t shown by default, so only the handful of people who enabled those kind of messages, ignored someone, and then see this spam are there to complain.

Would the Neural Silencer work to hide stuff like that?
Probably not, but maybe it should!

Er, yes it is… it’s been on by default as far back as I can remember to mark mobs to CC and what not in TBC…

Only see these spamming sods in TW Dungeons, so one can summise it being trolls intentionally spamming with macros on a spammed ability.

Did you try remove the target icons yellow txt? In the chat panels → settings → other

That’s a workaround. Point of this thread is that IGNORE should be blocking it regardless.

Its true, Im just trying find you solutions but maybe you figured that already. You are right anyway

the ignore function is a disgrace and shows that even though the whole company is about “modern values” they don’t care about you in the slightest. It’s a very limited function and isn’t account wide (I hope they chagned that though?) and furthermroe, the ignore list is limited and the limit is very small, something like 50.

They literally don’t care if you get harrassed.
