Yep, pretty late… never had this problem with amd and wow. Did have problems with diablo4, but that was before i found out i had to let the game spend 5 years loading up the first time with dx12
I got 1-2 crashes daily depending on how long I have played. It was on US forums, reddit,… people complaining about AMD crashing in SOD. AMD was pointing fingers on blizzard, blizzard was pointing fingers on AMD. People were trying to fix it with DDU if they did GPU swap, in my case it did not help, even windows reinstall did not help.
so it was a real issue for some people.
But are you sure it was amd’s fault? As alot of ppl never had those problems with amd cards. I had this problem with my brand new geforce card tho. Had to force the use of dx11 for a very long time wich leads me to think its not the gpu at all
As awesome as AMD is, the drivers…the drivers…
