Ik dual spec was added later in the game, but as a resto druid healer it kinda sucks to do quests in resto spec. Sometimes i just want to chill do some quests while i watch a serie.
Or waiting to find a proper group, instead of standing still i could run some quests.
50g does not look much, but still if i need to respec few times a day this would cost me to much. Gold i could invested into flying mount later on. I need to fly to thunderbluff all the time to respec, till i got there and being back in outland they already kicked me for to long.
I wonder how healers deal with this, just quest in your healing spec ?

Cant say what healers do but I can say what I do (in deep prot spec) I just quest in the spec im in might take a litle bit longer but its not to bad.

I dont think dual spec would be bad for the game, the rest i donāt need. But dual spec i donāt think somebody will be against that.

I can give you one bad thing just from what we see already in classic, it would āforceā people into having 2 raid specs for difrent things nothing more nothing less, and also for questing I would suggest you get a dps set and try out how it is to not change spec but just your items it makes a hughe difference for how quickly you can kill things while you stay a healer, (other than the tallents that actually give new attacks the difrence for killing things out in the world is mainly up to the gear)

Well im a resto druid healer, so i should than best look out for off spec cat gear ?
Will try that and see how it goes.
Some of us would prefer it if TBCC was kept as close as possible to the original experience. So itās a no thank you from me, at least.

Transmog is the worst thing added to the game in my opinion. It totally ruined the sense of having things and instead turned everything into skins and stats.
Dualspec also have a pretty huge impact on the sense of class and role identity.
Fact is, we already have both dual spec and transmog in retail. And now we have a version without it so we can choose the version we want.
You guys want to take that away from us.

I dontā¦ Wait until you get to shadow labs and you see how many players in this game sucks major @ss. Like holy damn its awful. Had to respec to prot pala and resto shaman just to kill Blackheart. I cant imagine how awful players would be if they freely could play all 3 specs. Like people like to meme about the wow playerbase, but having done heroics and the 68-70 TBC dungeons with entry gear shows you just how bad the state of the average player is.

2 years more and we will have it. Finally.
I think itās easier to heal dungeons in boomie or restokin spec. But of course wrathing quest mobs a little slower as resto works too.
I lvl in resto specā¦ I mostly quests and its slower then pure dps specā¦ But on otherside you solo quite a lot of the elite quests by yourselfā¦ And u can easly get into dung groupsā¦ There is also a build which take u deep into balace but also in resto so u can both heal and dpsā¦
Get a damage set for farming purposes.
If they add transmog to the game id quit for sure.
Dual spec is a different story, id love it

The only dual spec I want, is dual spec never took place in wow. I want requirement that both specs do not differ for more than 10-20 talents. So we actually can have PvP spec, and PvE spec for one role.
I did request DS. We didnāt get it, canāt say Iām surprised, but I will carry on asking for it.
I mean, they did remove spell batching towards the end of Classic phase 6, so maybe theyāll consider DS towards the end of TBC phase 5.
Iām planning to stay in TBC forever, so that would be a great addition.
What if they just give QoL? Like class trainer get āspec saveā option, which will save current spec&spellbar positions?

Every healer class is a hybrid class. Donāt push yourself too much into a single role and embrace the hybridism. Switching talents is absolutely not necessary if you know your class well. Switching gear is a lot easier than switching talents, you only have to organize your bag space a little bit better.
So figure out a good hybrid spec and get different gear sets so you can adapt instantly.
You donāt need the most optimal spec for every so different activity.
You can tank without tank spec, just by changing your gear and it will be fine most of the time. You can also heal without heal spec and it will be fine most of the time. You might not be the best tank or best healer like this but your strength as a hybrid should be your flexibility.
I even do pve with a pvp spec because pve is easy enough
