I’m actually do Mists at the moment on this Warlock.
As there isn’t much else to do now apart from running keys and I don’t really care about going above 20 on the keys, I’m running the previous content.
Just finished Shadowlands, now onto Mists because of the weekly timewalking, so a bit more reputation. Plus as no bots are in these areas, all the nodes are available, plus the rares.
So it’s a nice relaxing time 
ill go just to kill ordos on timeless isle.

Good old times where stormblast oneshot people.
I seriously can’t remember anything about gameplay in older expansions, how is it that everyone else does? 
I remember everything from launch (never played Shadowlands on it’s launch, returned when DF was released).

Ah the days, when you had to read your quests to find out the location of quests! These days people would be lost as most of them can’t read!
I seriously miss it too.
Even if every Class had roughly the same System (Builder, Spender) not a single class felt like a other one.
Like, every Tank was totally different but yet super entertaining.
Fast forwarding to DF, you either Play a Warrior (Guardian, Prot Warr, Prot Pala) or BDK (Brewmaster, VDH, BDK) gameplay wise. They dont have much of a difference anymore, except some have more Utility, but thats it.
Dungeon and Raid-Design was on point (well, you could argue Sha of Fear’s Heroic Phase), CM was hell a lot of fun to play.
And you could always do some Daily Quests (System wasnt perfect, but you could have done something if you wanted to), your very own Farm or Digging around for the Title.
For me it was the Expansion i played the most, because it felt great Logging in.
I never took so many breaks from TBC > SL as i already took in SL and DF.
I still like WoW as a Game, it just lost almost all of its depth.
Dont get me wrong, Open World Content is needed, but the open World Content WoW got in DF is superficial, like a lot of the Story.
Been playing this game for 15+ years so believe me when I say that 3 to 4 years from now you’re going to see threads about how people miss this expansion.

2 years though, first we have to get through Cataclysm for some reason 
I go play Classic and then I’m like OMG this is awful.
My friends and I are going to do Cata and I logged on my Wrath char and I’m looking at my abilities and I’m like god no. Logged out again. We do at least switch to holy power for Cata but start of Cata ret was in a dire state. So I’m hoping it’s not as bad as I remember.

We weren’t sure they’d do Cata and they are, so I think it’s reasonable for them to do MoP.
