I had been logged in since around 9am, played for a few hours then started doing stuff with WoW open in the background. Alt tabbing every few minutes to make sure everything was fine and I was still in-game because boy, you do not want to get disconnected and put in a queue on a Sunday on Gehennas.
I put coffee on to brew and went outside for a cigarette, maybe afk for 10 minutes max, this is at 2:30pm, I come back to the log-in screen, disconnected and think “oh for $#”%sake", I immediately knew what this meant. Giga queue, predicted 6 1/2 hour wait, definitely won’t get on for my raid at 8pm which I had scheduled over a week in advance. All of my characters that I play are on Gehennas.
So now I miss this raid that I organised with IRLs and PUGs because of your god awful lack of empathy for the players.
Kind of had enough of having to treat this game like a second job because we are essentially forced to play on this mega-server if we want to be able to do things at any given time, cross-realm would solve this in a heartbeat. So I checked the free migration servers and they are ALL completely dead servers with less than 1,000 people on them… Blizzard, are you insane? What kind of solution is this? Do you have anyone that even plays classic wow? Good lord.
BLIZZARD, I IMPLORE YOU TO IMPLIMENT SOME SORT OF FIX. I JUST WANT TO PLAY THE GAME THAT I PAY FOR. DO NOT MAKE ME TRANSFER TO A REALM WITH 0 POP. GIVE ME A FREE TRANSFER TO A LIVELY REALM, FACTION/REALM TRANSFER AND I’LL GO ALLY IDGAF. JUST DO SOMETHING PLEASE.

It is not Blizzard fault all players want to play on a Mega Server. if they increased capacity, even more players would come and you would still have queues.
The only ones who can solve this are the players.

Time to transfer to mirage raceway 
No queue here.
I manage to do all 12 HC’s there are groups even as late as 4 in the morning for some HC’s i am saved on every raid this week.
Mirage raceway has more than enough players, Just transfer here.
It is worth the 25 euro.

or blizzard could just fix their screw up and force transfer all firemaw players off the server that abused transfers its funny enough that which caused all the issues we have on gehennas

I would love to find another server mate, but the only offers for free-migrations are as followed:
Amnennar
Ashbringer
Hydraxian Waterlords
Lakeshire
Transcendence
And some russian server.
Give me your advice, go and play on one of these servers with sub 1k pop?

Oh but there is a fix. Transfer to Ashbringer for example. All you do is spreading fake news. The servers we can migrate to is NOT dead. Ashbringer i full and alive. The 3rd party websites are dead wrong on data.
I moved to Ashbringer from Gehennas and Asbringer is just as alive, stop spreading your false bullcrap numbers, thanks.

i just went to ashbringer from firemaw, the horde pop there was literally gone. so i had no choice, the server seems alright so far.
Not giving Blizzard money to resolve a problem they could fix.

Duh, that argument killed my mood.
Listen, we all play this game and we are sort of no news. We know the circumstances of playing on a highpop server (By the moment i’m writting this, I am 1602, 42min, away from loggin in in Firemaw). If you want to enjoy the easy life of a high pop server, you have to deal with the downside of the queues. There are other alternatives that lose easy life at the expenses of having less queue, at the suculent price of 25 yuros.
It just sucks, even more for scheduled events such as raids or arena games; but as thanos said, everything is balanced.

Nah, see this is just rolling over and taking it from Blizzard, exactly what they want. Just implement cross-server and people won’t care about playing on mega-servers.

You know, if you just came with arguments why you want cross-server and the benefits, maybe you would get some people to agree with you. But what you did here is simply started out with crying about transfers to “dead” realms, that aint even dead. Correcting you on that is not rolling over and taking it from blizzard.
It kinda feels like you are the one rolling over and taking it from Blizzard, refusing changing to other good servers. Instead you spend your evenings in queue while Blizz take your 20 euros and buy starbucks for them.

I apologise if me regarding to your server as “dead” offends you, but it is what it is. I didn’t think I had to elaborate at all on why I or anyone would want cross-server, I assumed that was fairly self-explanatory by my post.
How is it dead? You checking highly incorrect data on 3rd party websites doesnt make it dead. It makes you uninformed and unrational, and that makes it impossible to take you and your arguments seriously. There are loads of correct, updated data available in these forums. I think you can find the search button.
Cross-servers is a bad solution, keeping realms the way they are is a part of the classic experience, maybe its not just for you. Blizzard offered a solution that works, and worked for loads of people. If you dont want it. That’s your choice.
