I’ve seen many addOns online for auras etc. but I need something special. I will be specific. I would like an easy-to-use addOn that shows nameplates, auras, spell casting timers, CDs and all that stuff necessary for combat and especially raids. By easy-to-use I mean that i don’t want to set them myself like in WeakAuras because I don’t know how to do that, so I would like something that does all these things automatically and will help me to learn. Any recommendations? Must obviously work for Classic WotLK. Thanks in advance
Spell Activation Overlay is incredibly useful.
From memory this feature was added as standard in Cata and may have been in late WotLK
Timers are present in the standard UI in the WotL Beta - but there is a light add on for them.
I am not a fan of alternative UI and too much clutter, but do use Spell Activation Overlay, Details and Deadly Boss Mods - its enough in my opinion
Thanks for reply! but i don’t think that spell activation overlay is what I needed. The other 2 were useful and i think are enough for simple information.

That’s like… 5-10 separate addons. You won’t find one single addon that does all these, and since everyone has different preferences, you’ll need to adjust the settings for every addon to your liking, so this is just not possible:
Not to mention that ‘auras’ and ‘CDs’ and ‘all that stuff necessary for combat’ can mean a lot of things, so you’re not making it easy.
There is a reason that streamers often lock their UI and Addon list behind a subscribe fee: To optimize your UI requires a lot of effort, and a lot of Addons. I checked, and I’m currently using over 30 addons, one of them being WeakAuras, of which I have many (10-20).
For what it’s worth, I’ll try to give some pointers (avoiding WeakAuras like you said, even though most of these things can be achieved with a WeakAura each):
Nameplates: ThreatPlates
Auras: BigDebuffs.
Spell casting timers: Quartz
CDs: what do you mean exactly? Show party/raid CDs? That would be omniCD, or Method Raid Tools.
All that stuff necessary for combat but especially raids: Deadly Boss Mods, Details.
The more things an Addon does, the more settings it’ll have you can adjust, so there does not exist an addon that does all the things you want and is simple to use.

isn’t he just asking for elviui? (don’t use it but pretty sure it’s the best pve ui addon you can have) also there are addons made that use elviui as a base.

I mean, if you pick out whatever profile you like from wagoio then the setup basically boils down to “copypaste import string” beyond that he can just use plater and details! on basically default to cover bulk of what he wants.
I am looking for the best “I Win Button” 1 click Macro for my Ret Paladin that requires zero effort to set up so I can top Meters. C’mon now - don’t disappoint me community !
WeakAuras does that, and you need a CL or a mentor and the website - wago io
Go to the website and import WAs suggested by your class leader. Or browse class discords, they have pinned messages with popular WAs. You also need Plater addon for WA integration with nameplates.
It’s really that simple and it’s already done for you. You just need to make one step forward.
pretty sure that even if you used some broken script, you’d still not top damage meters
