How do I earn more TT besides the Travelers Log? I need tender to buy a couple more things in the shop. Thank you in advance :slight_smile:

You can’t earn more but you can buy slightly more with the preorder for TWIW (once per account) and select special bundled transmog offers where they also roll with Tendies if they come by.

If you already have; there’s no way as far as I know.

I don’t think there are more ways to earn tendies than what the others have already mentioned, sadly.

Oh…that’s ok then. Thanks for your answers everyone :slight_smile: I won’t be pre-purchasing TWW because it’s essentially paying at least £39.99 for 500 tender which isn’t a great deal. I’m not interested in the expansion you see.

Would be cool if achievement points gave you equivalent number of trader’s tenders. It would also give new life for achievement hunting. Sadly, most achievements now are useless.
If you like the idea, then please submit it as a feedback in the game :slight_smile:

There is an achievement if you managed to get a year of Trading Post rewards that you’d get Tendies as a bonus… Called Trading Post Enthusiast.

They said they are done experimenting with those deals in the shop now too.

All we can do is freeze one item and pay for it later, things do come around again though.

We don’t know for sure, but there was definitely quite a few negative reactions when they did those ‘bundles’.

I believe they aren’t going to do more bundles with tendies in the shop.

I don’t know if they felt people were buying them for the wrong reasons or that they just felt it wasn’t worth doing going forward. I have no idea.

Ah, see I would have liked them with the twilight mount + mog set so I could get more of the twilight pieces to go with it.

Could be that its a combination of low sales and negative reactions.

There is definitely a demand from players who want more Tendies though, but if the only other option is to outright sell Tendies to them then well…

Perhaps they could introduce a new daily that appears only after you’ve maxed out the currency, that rewards a small amount each day?

Just a thought that allows people who want more dailies to do them, while also allowing Blizzard to keep their “we won’t sell them” promise.

The daily could even be a choice of repeating the activities that earned the tender in the first place.

This could make it a “daily chore” instead of a leisurely stroll to finish it at your pace with whatever content you want to do, plus it incentives potential botting behaviour.

I believe they intentionally didn’t want to do something like that.

This goes directly against their design goal with trader’s tender - namely, to be a reward for just having an active subscription, rather than a daily chore. If there were daily quests after having maxed the currently, people would feel pressured to:

  1. Max it out on day one to have more days with a daily quest
  2. Play every day of the month to maximize gains

But the bigger problem is that tenders have a monetary equivalent (although it’s not available for us to see, although some have tried to reverse-engineer the value) and they are only available with real money purchases - preorders or a shop purchase (f.e. transmog). In these real money transactions the price of the tenders is factored in, although, again, this is not disclosed officially.

So in the end, this is not a currency they will be giving away lightly. They want it to be limited, otherwise it would lose its value and nobody would care to buy these bad transmogs from the store for the extra tenders

I have almost 8,000 tender just now. I rarely see things that I simply must buy. And I don’t buy things for the sake of buying them, not even the mounts or pets. I didn’t bother with the fox mount as I didn’t think I’d ever use it.
