I’m up at almost midnight, or it might be midnight, being really frustrated, and concerned for the community, the people that make up the community, I can’t with certainty, say that people on World of Warcraft, are normal, and that’s very bad, I don’t think I have met a single person that had just a tiny piece of logic, or decency or moral on World of Warcraft since I started playing…

And that goes without saying a friend of mine, real life friend he was off the charts in the wicked, but he’s a good fellah when you set him straight, and he actually listens.

And no, you don’t want to be the type of weird, or not normal that I think you are.

There is:

  • Being a normal weird person in a good way.
  • Being a weird and weird weird person in a bad way.
  • Being normal and grey.

I’m not sure if people are just and I truly hope that they are not the same people as they potray online, but at times I feel that they are, and it saddens my heart so immensely.

As a person who is normal and weird in a good way, I feel even the weird part of me being disgusted with peoples behaviour and way of thinking on World of Warcraft, and that’s a bad sign.

List of sings that are a problem:

  1. Typically when people get in an argument on World of Warcraft the niche for everyone not smart, or intelligent enough, or who had a strong belief in being right, only to be proved wrong on a moral stand, or logic, or whatever it might be, most people seek help from their friends. Instead of taking things in context they spread out lies, and out of context things with their friends in order to re-write a history that has never once unfolded, re-write a story, re-write words, Type 1 if you’ve experienced the same.

I for one find it deeply disturbing that the majority of people are so stuck in their belief, and so rooted by a uncontrolable action that they find themselves needed to lie, and I find it even more disturbing that friends hop on that train. For the simple fact that they might also think its the truth.

  1. Morals/decency- Giving, and being a good person. I have had tons of conversations with people, and it seems non-existing, while morals and decency, logic might not be apart of the average wow players days, and logic that are right, morals that are right. Is in the universe of World of Warcraft wrong, because they’ve been re-written, by some people who clearly don’t fit into society, or have lived a honest life, decided to change the rules of morals and decency to deprave people, and make them horrible.

It still makes the logic, and morals, decency that the universe runs after right, wether you want to belive it or not, you shouldn’t spout your false ideology when faced with a person who actually has it straight. Simple things such as if others get, I shouldn’t also get, but I might be lucky next time, or a simple thing such as give a name, or an item or anything for the better, or for a majority that you don’t really benefit from that much, or could go without is non existing.

Its like its every man and woman for himself, until a boy meets a girl that they find cute, or a friend that can give. What happend to being a decent person helping a stranger, giving, and dealing, or just the logic, and heart to be decent, and kind.

Its like “GIve me” before “Giving” in this universe, or be entitled “Boy meets girl, she is cute” kinda entitled. Or if they got, I also want or its not fair kinda stufffies. I find it so heart breaking.

Its just overall, its hard to put down in a thread, People are just kinda sad, and must be living real bad lives to be such horrible people.

I’ve met quite a few very nice people in the short amount of time I’ve played WoW.
Personally I think you’re being a bit overdramatic.

Tell me about an encounter with a person who has been nice with you, your very first encounter, what did you do, or what did this person do, that made you like or find this person comfortable.

I know how this will sound being typed on the internet and it wont come across right. But have you ever considered that maybe if you relaxed a bit and didnt sweat the small stuff people would be more receptive towards you? I mean didnt you basically say earlier that a large portion of players were terrible? Can you see how that can rub people up the wrong way?

I was playing on this character, a boosted character, doing MoP timewalking dungeons as a tank since I thought it was rather fun and since some MoP dungeons have quite a few skips (which I obviously didn’t know) a DPS in the random group I met told me what to pull and what we can skip and how to skip them.

So for his own benefit, he decided to help you out, I can’t be certain in anything, but I do see this happen, and its purely for their own gain. Which is quite obvious, why not help out to get a smooth run.

But the fact of the matter is that person probably only helped you out because it was to his benefit.

As for Darthmavis:
I’ Have tried relaxing, and I have tried to adapt to how people on (WOW) behave, and its not working, I simply can’t get superficial, and ignorant enough, and egocentric enough, and while it might sting some people, they also have to open up, if they get affected it clearly seems I hit the right spot. Some people I might misjudge but the majority needs to open up and see their own faults, they’re bright as day, but since we are online, people have this afraid attitude, with all the punishments going around, people have to tread carefully because if they hurt someone that’s not stable mentally, its silence for them, so people slowly adapt, and today World of Warcraft has probably become the most egocentric, horrible community in any game. If people would just say no, and teach these people how to act, and be while still allowing them to be themselves, its only proper parenting from strangers.

Well, to get in an argument over who’s more right. My closing statement to you will be something along the lines…

Let’s just leave it, I not for one second think that we can end on the same side of the coin, which means it’ll be an endless argument that’ll turn into more people joining in and sprouting nonsense.

And as a note to everyone reading.
I am the one that are not able to fit in, I am the wrong person in the eyes of a World of Warcraft, or internet computer hobby enthusiast, but in the eyes of morals, and decency, and the right logic, outside as a human being living in the world I am right.

And sometimes people like me just have to accept that certain communities, created online, in games, or platforms are very different, maybe very sheltered, or uninformed, or not well enough parented, self educated in how to behave decently.

So I am the bad boy, trying to rip a soar wound open, but I for one find the attitude, and logic, and the whole thing going on with people in world of Warcraft horrible.

As an example of decency:

I have a bank Guild with a name, I only use it as a bank. But somebody who wants to start a Guild and really wants that name, to make an active community might come and ask for it.

Would you:

A. Tell him to F off

B. Gladly give him the name.

Right, you chose that name, its nice, or funny, or whatever it might be, you chose it first, so in that aspect you are entitled, but wouldn’t the joy, or logic pop in that well, it is an online game, you can only use that name once on a realm, and I am only one person, and they might be several, or will become several, so I might as well just find a new name for my bank.

Trust me 90% will choose A, and its idk… wrong.

As a person of deceny, and moral and logic I would gladly choose option B, but many people wouldn’t on World of Warcraft, and that surprises me and worries me a lot.

Small things such as these exist, and if it takes this little to make people vile and horrible, and so egocentric, yikes!

And no that has never happend too me. It was from an earlier conversation about exactly decency that I used this example, and people were all nasty, and egocentric and bad people, so I am re-using it to argument that its the truth, and I aint just shooting blanks. people will come up with the lamest excuses to choose option A, watch and learn.

How do you know? Just because you dont know about it doesnt mean it doesnt happen. When someone does something good or good in your eyes, is it normal to think that they’ll come to the forums to tell everyone about it? Besides, anyone who does feel it necessary to inform all of their good deeds probably isnt doing them for the right reasons

Pinkylarue - Its your belief against mine, it will take us nowhere. You have no proof, nor do I, but I think i do more in human interaction, and spotting than you do, and from my view its a clear cut case, people on world of Warcraft are that terrible.

Well, unless you’ve met and interacted with each and every single player - which of course you havent - then you cant say that with any kind of certainty

It doesn’t take interacting with everyone, this is where I definitely know you are very wrong, and I do more research, and in-depth research, and interaction with people, its patterns.

Patterns in how people behave, how they cope with certain things. I don’t have to interact with a thousand players to judge them all of the same type, a very few individuals will be more than enough.

Its the same patterns on all medias, youtube, mmo-champion, the forums, and in-game, it could be a twitch stream chat, or generally anything related to a discussion, perhaps reddit (For Wow) the patterns are very clear.

Yeah yeah…people are bad. Greedy slugs and etc and etc. Everyone is in it for them selfs…now what, sunshine?
Are you going to preach that we should all hold our hands together and meditate for love and peace or something?

Firstly who are you to sit in any kind of judgement over anyone? And thats not meant as any kind of slight towards you but a genuine question. And to know people really does take interaction - how can you know a person unless you interact with them? It’s like judging a book by its cover

Well - Again, patterns, and influence. How people become influenced by a majority, the same patterns seen in a person who acts slightly different, but still traces back to patterns of the same nature.

I am not sure what line of work you are fascinated by, or what fascinates you, I personally am fascinated by human behaviour, for the single fact that I want what’s best for everyone, I want to help people, not in a superficial manner, or a shrink manner, but to evolve how we do research on human behaviour, how we help people to the best of our ability.

I do a lot of reading, a lot of research, and question many things, theories, and create my own and put them out there for people to question, I truly want to help others who struggle with life, either mentally or physically, but even todays methods are too superficial to do good when it needs to do good.

I’m very passionate, and sure enough I am not sherlock holmes, or a well known scientist, but do you have to be? we spend millions on trying to find out the most redicilous things that we don’t really need to, or already know, yet we still spend those millions.

What it takes is genuine worries, and the passion to better behavour, or better other people, help other people.

And in that, I have learned a lot about people, how people behave, and how a community, or society works, and based on several patterns, the countless repeat of those patterns on every social media for world of Warcraft, from over thousands of people, with thousands of other people agreeing, and disagreeing, fighthing and changing their minds, and another thousand more, I can deduct that not many are different on world of Warcraft.

Let me just ask you this, isnt it right that you’ve seen people two different people one of kind nature, and the other of bad, but still seen patterns in how they’re very much alike, but they still have differences, but there are patterns in their behavour that makes them exactly the same in the end.

Let’s for example take a “Cheater” relationship wise, there’s a pattern, while one might be nice and kind from the beginning and all the way through, and the other maye be a d from the start, those two still share patterns. The patterns of a cheater.
