I’d love to use older gear transmogs, but their pixel density sometimes really sucks on their textures. In case you don’t know I mean with pixel density, here a definition:
Texel density (also referred to as pixel density or texture density) is a measurement unit used to make asset textures cohesive compared to each other throughout your entire world.
It’s measured in pixels per centimeter (2.56px/cm) or pixels per meter (256px/m).

Like, certain items from WoD have a pixel density that is as high as modern day transmogs. And then alongside some items from WoD have like a pixel density from TBC.
I would gladly have my WoW data on my PC take up more space if that means I can use more upscaled versions of the textures for transmog items.
Like, looking at Diablo 4, I can optionally download 4k textures for more graphics fidelity. Why is that no option for WoW yet?
And before someone says “performance reasons”, Blizzard could easily have those improved textures only be applied to your own character model, if you wish to.
I don’t care how other player characters look. I just want that my character looks good.
