I really prefer the original blizzard scrolling combat text over everything currently available

I took a break after cata and started in late legion again and i gotta say this “fountain” like scrolling combat text is really uninspiring plus you almost don’t even see your auto attacks. afaik ( and i don’t know why ) there is no option to just switch back to the original sct? Imo it felt way more satisfying than this weird looking one. why did blizzard remove it entirely ? normal hits floating up centered and critical hits popping up randomly positioned staying in place.

Blizz CT is very uninformative. And i don’t mean effects or procs sometimes it doesn’t show part of your normal damage

Doesn’t necessarily have to be informative. I use the dps meters to tell me how I’m doing so I don’t give a hoot how the combat text looks like.

The random crits flying everywhere always amused me and I do miss them too to be completely honest :frowning:

I remember back at the day when dual wield frost wasn’t very popular so blizz combat text have shown only half of damage you do with oblitirate

That lets you change the settings for the combat text, depending on your preferences.

unfortunately only for incoming events , as far as i could see. The closest i have come with miks scrolling battle text
