And you accuse others if being silly .

Personally my excitement for New World is below the ground, Ashes of Creation is a scam and is never coming out and the RIOT MMO is… “the RIOT MMO”. All their non-LoL games have been… meh at best? So I’m not too excited.
However, FFXIV. My mate asked me to download it and I did and it’s giving me really good vibes. It’s like if WoW and Lineage 2 had a baby.
…and it came out of the womb with horrible disfigurements yelling ‘hail Satan!’
Then, you’re right.
If blizzard would listen us what ever we want the game would be unplayable for example i wanna Planes in game ? i mean. I do agree game need fixing cause it seems they are not playing it all
Doctor took the baby out, saw it and said “She needs a bit more time in the oven” and put it back in.
Thats becouse you dont really enyoj playing mmo games rather than action based dungeon crawls.
literally don’t even pay attention to anything Tahra says in regards to ff14 at this point…
it’s nothing but spiteful nonsense…
i don’t know why they have such a vendetta against ff14… it is beyond me really… but they sure do not like it for whatever reason…
i do question if they ever even played it in any great detail at all.
just smh really.
I enjoy classic wow plenty much, but FF14 is even slower than classic, it’s just insane.
I’m still waiting for a Bellular fan to explain how they got information from a country that didn’t exist since 1992…Pretty sure Yugoslavia didn’t exist after then, and ooh, WoW didn’t exist at the time either, and FF14 wouldn’t exist until 2014…
Bless 'em. Streamer Drones ain’t always the smartest…
Haha, no. Look, you know why people were angry about covenants? Because they can’t pick whatever they like and instead they are kinda forced (yeah, that word) to pick best performing. Why? You see, in order to make mythic bosses last more than week Blizzard creates stupid timegates and dps/hps checks. Instead balancing those bosses for at least mediocre covenants choices they decided to tweak those bosses assuming everyone has bis gear and covenants. In effect, mythic raiders CAN’T play any covenant - worst covenant means less dps/hps which leads to wiping cause group didn’t meet requirements. That is HORRIBLE design - who the hell cares about World Firsts? 5 guilds in the world making it 0.001% of whole playerbase?
People laugh at TBC T4 clear time - AND WHAT? There will always be some nerds tryharding even tic-tac-toe. I play with my tempo and picking whatever professions and talents I feel like picking without fearing I’ll be a burden, because even at my worst I won’t block my team from succeeding.
So, in the end, Blizzard caters to 0.001% of players. It’s not varied playerbase.
The thing with these new games is that they will attract people because it’s a novelty, but people who’ve played WoW for a long long time will still come back to WoW. Familiarity is a powerful thing and it will always trump novelty.
Of course there will be quite a lot of people who will want to stay in that new game, but as soon as the novelty wears out, they will return to the game they are most familiar with. Happened to me many times while playing Guild Wars 2 and Aion.
This is not the first time “potential wow killers” hit the market and have initial hype. There was Age of Conan, Rift, SW:TOR, Warhammer Online, GW2, Elder Scrolls online, etc. All of these games had very high hype at their launch. All of them sold more than one million copies. All of them received favorable critic and user reviews. Some of them still enjoy some success today while others are dead or near dead.
Only time will tell if the new MMOs will stand the test of time and prevail and pass wow, or will be like the others and wow remains on top.
“Overtook” people migrate from wow to ff14 and back again every year. It was the same when Shadowbringers came out.
You might include eso and gw2 too. Also any new mmo, and then getting back to wow.
Very true! Forgot about those!
Haha, yes.
There’s lots of stuff that’s aimed at different types of players. You’re only talking about raiding. You can ignore the other content all you like, but raids are not the be-all-end-all of content.
Ok then, 0.001% of players + casuals. Everything in-between is ignored.
Ugh. Lineage, what an awful game that was.
New World and Ashes of Creation are my big hopes on the PvP front, as it doesnt exist in FF whilst WoW is just, average.
New World is gonna be p2w and Ashes of Creation is never coming out, it’ll go down in the same limbo as Star Citizen. They will find themselves making more money and having less risk by not releasing the game.
I will probably play New World when it comes out, it looks promising as something casual to sink some time in, like I did with The Division 2.
Is it? The latest dev interview said many years before itll be considered, now dont get me wrong, it leaves the door open but still New World looks the one. Yeah, it does have the echoes of Camelot Unchained about it. Will see, content with holding out on WoW till NW releases as I’ve tried getting back FF14 lately and just end up running around mounted up doing loops and logging off, can understand how some feel like that in WoW currently.
