I mean, if the gearing process during that time period was similar enough to what it is now, shouldn’t be just bring it back to appease the people who don’t like the current one, since the current one and the old one are the same to people who are fine with the current one?

You know, since you’re still replacing gear come major patch. Might aswell give us reforging, it only increases QoL.
