I don’t agree with that … I don’t do the big 3 (apart from the occasional unrated pvp) and I find there’s far too much for me to do. Maybe I have less playing time than others.
I think Puny has given a pretty good coverage of most things you can do … but you’ll always find more niche things. That’s what I love about WoW - there’s something/enough for almost everyone. I haven’t had time for BGs this expansion yet (apart from the obvious CompStomp)
I could ask the same question really… I don’t know what I’d do if there wasn’t “anything” to do. I, more like, focus on fixed grinds, so I kinda dislike farming mogs by now, unless it’s bound to a rep I can grind in my own pace.
So I mainly do things like gear world quests, world bosses, a key a week, and the dungeon/M+/comp stomp.
I do these and then… go level an alt. Which again burnt me out by now, as it’s too monotonous in both game versions, and I can’t be bothered with the one life HC challenge in classic.
Add the fact I got a heap of new games from Steam sale, including a star wars game, Skyrim, and Far Cry 2, so I just unsubbed to play those instead. It’s a fun time to revisit all the old games I played in the past… for a one time fee instead of a recurring payment
Rather than waiting for a “To do” list (or as many call it “Chores” I would suggest you set some goals for yourself to achieve.
A good place to start is the Achievements tab. There will be a achievements in there for exploration, some for doing all the quests (campaigns and Sojourner with side quests).
Another place to look at is Professions. You don’t need to limit yourself to the current convoluted mess but you could level up some professions in the older expansions where getting the mats should be quite easier with a max level.
Look through the Transmog sets (either ingame wardrobe or on websites). Find ones you want and go hunt them done.
There are 100s of achievement for old expansions too. Do them on these alts you’re leveling or do them on a max level if you want to do them quicker.
Some are about completing particular quest lines, some are about doing particular dailies, some are killing particular rares.
In this world (of Warcraft) there are a lot of things to do.
Alright, someone call the psych ward. The OP needs help getting off his WoW chores addiction!

On a more serious note, I really just think you have to adjust your mindset. Play WoW because you want to when you want to, don’t play it because it tells you to when it tells you to. It’s your hobby - you control it, it cannot control you.
As a matter of fact there was a video today on the official WoW YouTube channel where Ion said that one of the core design goals with Dragonflight is to never give you chores. And I like that. Dunno if they’ve succeeded with 10.0.7, but I’m about to find out…
Ive only done a part of the Mathias Shaw questline, but im pleased they’ve made some older zones somewhat relevant to the story (albeit only briefly). Will give a proper opinion when ive done more of this patch
Roleplay is the only lasting form of content where your investment transcends expansions and patches and ilvl hikes that come with new seasons.
It is the true way of playing the game.
That’s for Humans only so isn’t part of the main 10.0.7 content per se. I will do it (can’t decide whether to do it with my Pally or my Rogue).
As for the main content, I’ve only done some of the intro quests on Forbidden Reach. Not done any of hese Vaults nor Storms nor rares yet.
But it does feel less Chores oriented which is good.
