I think WoW needs better ingame menus to display seasonal rewards

Yes, we can preview the Armor sets for a season from PvP for example already via the appearance collection tab.

However, some rewards like mounts/special transmogs and weapon illusions are not so easily displayed.

Like, I just met on my alt in Stormwind a Kul Tiran with a weapon illusion I have never seen before, turns out its “Sinful Flame”, a weapon illusion from Shadowlands S1 PvP.

You know Bllizzard, if you want people to be more motivated to play certain content with seasonal rewards, you really should add a “what’s new” rewards tab in the collections for each current season.

Who knows, maybe I would have forced myself through PvP in SL S1 for that appearance. Up until now I didn’t even knew it existed.

You can already see all new cosmetics in the cosmetic tabs. Just because they don’t pop in your face with shiny neon signs when you open the tab, doesn’t mean they aren’t there. If you are really that interested in knowing whats new, it shouldn’t be too much bother to scroll through the collection, or alternatively visit wowhead.
Believe it or not, there are people who dont wanna know every little detail about a new patch and it’s content, the moment it launches, but prefer to preserve the element of surprise and discover stuff by themselves.

I do that every seasonal patch. I still miss every new mount and mostly every new weapon illusion because there is no reason for me to use those menus usually.

It isn’t too hard to make a drop down menu that has a preview of all newly added transmogs, cosmetics, etc. And when you click on them, it jumps to the entry in the collections.

Adding this certainly wouldn’t hurt people that prefer the surprise. They just DON’T open that menu.

Do you not follow any news from blizzard or say any of the news sites that highlight all the season rewards each time?

Barely. And honestly, we shouldn’t have to. All the relevant information should be ingame.

They can manage to add a side-drop menu for the trading post with all items of the month and their prices. Yet, adding a list of all seasonal rewards (not speaking about general PvE expansion content but like M+ and rated PvP rewards that are time-limited obtains) is suddenly too much to ask for in the eyes of some players.

Something like showing the rewards on the screens where you can view your own PvP/M+ etc? That sounds like a decent idea imo.

I’m with Heramaar on this, You shouldn’t have to look externally to find out basic information like this.

They are in the game. For example I can see the mount every time for KSM in the list.

How do you feel it should be included? Most of us that do seasonal content are aware that they exist and know where to look. So what would you like to see? Blizzard publish blogs/news every season start, where else should that appear?

Yeah, thats what we need, more menus…

Put it all in the area where you press “I” to access.

For M+ stuff, int he M+ tab that shows your score and dungeon levels completed. If its a reward for M+ it should show it there. This makes the most sense then everything is in one place rather than either having to look anywhere else.

For PvP, similar to above, show it where you can see the current seasons score(s) for PvP.

For raids, make a new tab in the same window showing the possible special rewards (like the mounts for clearing the raid at x difficulty), it can also show a better view for what you’ve killed this week and your furthest raid progression this season.

Lemme throw a quick picture together in paint…

Something like this (my editing skills are not that great with free software, so just imagine the “Seasonal” tab is clicked).

In the collections screen and ONLY there. No flashing icon. Just a simple “New Seasonal Rewards” as a text box, that can be closed like the “New Talent Point available” text box when leveling up.
