I thought you kept knowledge points after relearning a profession?

I started as herb and miner this expac, but decided I wanted to roll another profession.

From what I understood, you lost every recipe, but keep your mining knowledge points.

Turns out, I have lost all knowledge points from my almost maxed mining tree before unlearning it in favor for inscription.

Is this a bug or was it intended to lose ALL your knowledge points?

it is unclear from your post, Did you :

  1. Unlearned mining and learned inscription and are wondering why you dont have mining knowlage in Inscription

  2. unlearned mining and then relerned mining agen but all you knowlage is gone

If option 1 , then its working as intendet, if option 2 its a bug and you shoud contact costumer suport
