I tried Dragonflight, it's not Warcraft

Like LFR, Mythic+, LFG, Flying mounts, heirlooms, seasons :D, etc…

I fail to see why these things do not belong in a MMORPG.

In truth you do have to give the expansion a little longer to get going. I found the first part a little flat and struggled with some of the concepts. However as things progressed I found the story side of things quite absorbing and not unlike how things were in the original game and expansions. The difference with this later expansion is I sense I am being assisted in my journey and the game tries to guide and drive me in the right direction.

Slowly I have come to really enjoy the expansion and at the moment am happy to continue. Level 66 now and taking my time as I do level other characters in rotation. The clue as to whether I am having a good time is getting that buzz when I think about firing the game up. I got to the green dragons yesterday and was gifted a new green mount. So the journey enters a new stage… and I am looking forward very much yo playing today. What else can you ask for. It is a game after all and does help when you have a positive attitude.

Why those things are bad has been discused to the deaths on forums, youtube and other developers on twitch so i am not gonna write it there for 50th time.

Thats was main point you dont see it becouse you are not mmmorpg player. Like sure have them idc i am not interested in playing game like this but dont be suprised that retail keeps dieing and lossing players while classic have steady playerbase with higher engagement across entire year.

Which it was to be meant to be put WoW as free to play at the start of the Dragonflight

And that topic due not Soloing BFA raids in normal, and 0 content

Says the guy who barely engages with the game on any level and wants parasitic systems to make a comeback because he needs the game to make him do content as opposed to going out there on his own and finding the content. Sure chief, whatever you say.

Source please because I gave classic a shot many times and it felt pretty live supporty to me. Examples /trade and /general were 90% Boosts sellers (retail had this problem as well), had to wait weeks in order to complete my warlock epic mount questline because people didn’t do Shcolo and DM anymore (this was in TBCC), which ok granted they are vanilla dungeons, but come on 2 weeks in order to find 4 more players in order to do them… and yes I did ask in the guilds my 2 characters were in, which again granted is more like a me problem but I wouldn’t had that problem if I actually had LFD queues.

Not during Cataclysm 2011

But Dragonflight feels like Disney, their voice acting and the stories feels like that

up until wrath WoW was as quoted by Michael Morhaime “a game by gamers, for gamers”
Now since its all corporate, since maybe MoP, when IMO WoW was last at its best its " a game by Bobby, for Bobbys pocket"

I am with Amonet on this as DF feels as good as WotLK did back in the day.

Now if only I had as much time to play as I did back then…

The starting area took 2 hours out of my gametime.
Now people are saying to continue on beyond the two first zones because it gets better.
When is the game actually going to start being good?

Well to be fair, BfA and Shadowlands are a really low bar.
Just for you I think I’ll try to level my Drac’thyr to 63 so my opinion can grow worse or better.

I didn’t change, I still like the old Warcraft.
It’s not for me anymore because I think the people in charge dislike the old Warcraft.

I am not even a boomer.
My age would put me in the zoomer category.

If you think there is 0 content and all you can do is M+, then what do you think I do, who don’t do M+? Because I log in every day and enjoy the game for hours.

How? you know what nvm I will just be labeled as an elitist again anyway.

Yes I know, and trust me I absolutely hate the job Denuser did in those expansion and nayone who is familiar with me during those two expansions and especially during the end of SL knows how skeptical and pessimistic I was towards something that was labeled “Denuser’s baby”. However I was pleasantly surprised with DF, without going into spoilers it’s a pretty laid back story that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and by that I mean that even though the main story is stopping evil shamans and elemental proto drakes by re-empowering the Aspects, we are also explorers first and are interacting with the different cultures of the DI denizens like the Tuskaars and Centaur tribes. And as I mentioned previously pay more attention to the side quests (if you want lore/story) as they are where the actually good writing is.

Because I read quests texts, and decided to explore the new zone a bit.
I don’t see what you mean with your projection. I just made sure I was taking my time not skipping anything.

blizzard in their greed to attract a large piece of the asian gamer market ruined the core of warcraft. giving blood elves…to horde. going downhill since then

Yes I did that aswell and It didn’t take me more than 30-40 mins. But like I said nvm.

However with my speed in mind Dragon Isles zones took me about 3 days to complete loremaster.
