So, returning player here.
And I now read that lots of combat-related Addons won’t function anymore as before.
Which, personally, I don’t mind.

But, I used WeakAura for a ton of automated “fun” RP.
For example shouting “Bonsai !!” anytime anyone casted Bloodlust (and the like), or a certain Text in /say when a spell was successful or when channelling.

Will those little gimmicks which WA provided now be impossible? =/

Yes. The actions were triggered by combat related events and data and those are not visible anymore in the API.
