I want classic + but... from another studio

Lets be honest. The quality of the product has been in downfall after BFA. It’s very formulated and with zero innovation/risks. War Within is the first expansion i got bored after a month into it and that says a lot. I Think Blizzard needs competition. Because now they compete them self’s with their self’s.

I really hope that Microsoft (who owns Warcraft) gives the chance to another of their many studios (like Obsidian for example) in warcraft universe. And what’s better than Classic wow. Imagine two versions. Retail and Classic. Two different timelines. Like in game (we are actually playing the alternate one). Blizzard and another studio. The competition will do good to costumers (us) and the companies. And maybe we will get a better game than the one we have now,

obsidian has no experience with mmorpg .it will be recipe for disaster and if you know microsoft they keep the same studios that make them instead of shuttling them to other studios in their own portfolio .so not happening

You have to be careful with innovations. Make the gameplay too different than what players enjoy, and it’ll harm the game, not help it. You have to build upon and extend the existing systems, not replace them.

Quick reminder that MS has renamed 343 into Halo Studios instead of giving the franchise to another studio despite alleged backlash from the community. I wouldn’t get my hopes up…
