So I changed the lyrics…
"Beware, beware, the son of Durotan
Beware, I heard them cry
His words carried upon the spirit’s call
As he left his throne behind
Those widespread lands of Kalimdor
For those we fought and died
The Warchief raged upon Theramore
Because, you left our side
Why this, why this, oh son of Durotan
Why this, you walk the road astray?
Always the pride, to see our people rise
How could you walk away?
When the new Warchief praised upon the void
It teared us all apart
What else to save, but follow Darkspear-rule
As it gave us a fresh new start
But then we found upon the broken shores
Legion 'pon the rise!
And when we faced those demonlords
The Horde, lost its pride
And burried was the honor-way
Betrayed by the Dark Lady
To our faction, with our last breath cried
Beware the son of Durotan!
I heard, I heard, across the lands and sea
The spirits calling me;
“Beware, beware the Son of Durotan”,
“Beware, beware…
… of me”.
Now, let’s get into the topic
It dosen’t makes any sense that Thrall is hiding from all this that is going on right now. I really want him back in the story, but then not as Go’el-Thrall aka Green jesus. I want my warchief WC3-mode Thrall back. He has stuff to fix in his so dearly Horde.
I mean, Blizzard have poorly written most of the wc3 heroes in the last 10 years, but atleast now Tyrande, Malfurion and Jaina has become pretty damn awsome in their own ways. And Rokhan having his prime-time in wow. Even the Night elves as a people is turning into that savage nelves we got to know in our childhoods. Because of that I see a great potential for Thrall to come back in that identity we want him to be.
Most of all I wish he becomes the new Warchief (But dont make Sylvanas into Garrosh 2.0, plz…), because right now it feels like the Horde is damn shattered and I see atm no other character with that amount of authority and respect among the other Horde-leaders than Thrall. I think even the Alliance would think again if the Horde is having Thrall in charge somehow.
Who knows, he could perhaps even save Saurfang in the state the writers are taking him…
They have to do something with Thrall. He can’t just dissapear to nowhere only because the spirits in Azeroth are not answering him because of something he did in another world, in another dimension (again, terrible writing).
