So those covenant abilities that were 2 big buttons. How do I get that once Ive chosen my covenant? I dont want them on my action bars. I want what I had through the intro story.
I just do, ok.
Get Bartender or a similar addon, create your own bar with only two buttons and increase the size.
There is not way to achieve this without modding your interface.

Why should blizzard do it? The thing you want is very specific. I highly doubt even 0.0001% of players would care.
You canât expect them to make everything any random player wants into a feature. Use the addon. Make your own button.

What MĂĄntra said tbh. They give us a version with a fancy border. Get us used to it and then take it away.
Because of bloat I currently have 12 on use abilities keybound. I had to prune at least 1 out of the rotation (mostly as its useless and situational). That isnt counting long cooldown abilities I just click on. I didnt want to lose yet another in my UI so I want it where I can see it. The UI they gave us was a perfect and elegant solution. I never for a moment expected them to go nope you dont need that anymore just put it with all the others itll be fine.

nha, they make it so you clearly see that there is a new spell so you move it somewhere and make a new bind (or, guess what, u just put the spell on the bfa-essence slot :D)
WoW is not make for clickers, so you either improve/learn how to properly play, or you take an addon and gg
You read that I said I have 12 abilities keybound yeh? Im not an octopus, theres only so much I can do. Abilities with 1 min plus really dont need keybinding.

The âboxâ youâre referring to is called the âenvironment action buttonâ not to be confused with âextra action buttonâ. Itâs for abilities that are granted when you enter a specific location. WoD garrison abilities also appeared in the same slot. Itâs not for permanent spells.
Tbf I just drag things off it and keybind them anyway.

Even if 1 min plus CD abilities DO need keybinding Iâm out of options for where to put them.
Ive bound Q, E, R, T, F, G and then shift for each of those. Plus side button, plus shift side button. Thatâs 14 abilities. And thatâs apparantly not enough and Iâm still a âclickerâ. smh
You click and keyboard-turn while others do twice as much DPS as you.
Use shift, ctrl and alt.

You can bind 36 abilities quite easily through shift & ctrl modifier.
If you just click one button, a glider, pre pot or even the Special Button in 2021, your a god damn clicker and you need to be ashamed of yourself

I did try using ctrl and alt combos before but dont have the manual dexterity for that.

In cleartext: Anything beyond 30 keybinds is considered way too little for WoW.
Why exactly are we being mean to this guy?
He asked for something, that thing can be provided through an addon and he was directed to the addon that can provide it. Sure he made a bit of an offhand comment afterwards but thereâs no need to try and school someone on key bindings for wanting to play the way they want to.
While I disagree 12 keybinds is sufficient, and that things over 1 minute cd shouldnât be bound, youâre perfectly ok not to if you donât want, and to instead use an addon to make larger clickable buttons on your screen if you prefer. Youâll be worse off by a number of metrics, but if you donât consider them important to how you play then who cares.
