I want to find a good ui can you help me

Hi there, I want to find a good UI that that is very simple and doesn’t show much and isn’t very flashy and let’s me be able to see more of the game than the ui. If you know any good ones feel free to tell me and I’ll take a look. Thanks for the help :slight_smile:

Customisable UI’s might be the way forward, alot of streamers tend to have very basic static/simple UI’s but they use weak auras so they tend to have alot of big abilities on the screen too.

I find things like bartender/dominoes is nice and simple to use as I can set the bars up how I want them while being able to free up some space.

For leveling if you’re looking to play the game mainly with just questing and low level content azerite UI might be nice for you too.

ElvUI is what I use - you can customise it quite a lot, turn frames on and off and reposition them round the screen to your liking.

If you go the ElvUI route you have to go to a third party site as I don’t believe it’s available on curse/twitch app.

An advice for you is not to look for optimal UI rather look for UI that you feel comfortable with, and just make sure that it doesn’t block your vision.

ElvUI

I am using the Asmongold profile tweaked a bit to my needs (I’ve forgot to copy my own when formatting the pc and his layout was very similar).

Check Belluar’s video about addons from 2018 (Legion).
He showed both a very transparend ElvUI layout as well as a RPG_UI (or sth like that) which resambles the UI from consoles which in themselfs are quite slim.

By you description it seems the default UI might be the best for your wants. What is it that you dislike about it?

I only use bartender and SUI, you can remove the Blizzard art bar and fade out stuff you don’t want to be so prominent without mousing over them.
Bartender lets you move around all the different bars and change ammount of rows and buttons you want too.
SUI also gives a nice black faded frame around all the buttons wich i really like :smiley:

I just use the default Blizz UI and Bartender.

Use the least amount of addons you can, otherwise it can slow your game down.

Thanks for the suggestion.I do have tried Bartender but I didn’t use it that much and didn’t change much but I’ll try it again and try the other UI you suggested and hopefully I find a customization I like. Thanks again for the help :slight_smile:

A lot of people find UIs by watching streamers or content on youtube.

i just use bartender now but i used to use Tukui UI(part of ELVui package)

No. I love the original UI and what he has been saying sounds like the original UI will fit well.
