Heya
If I wanted to try and solo WotLK epic dungeons ( Pit of Saron, Trial of the Champion etc.)
At what level would it be possible and how high must my item level be?
Any body got some tips, they would like to share with me I’d be ever so grateful
Level 50 will definitely do it, with whatever ilevel you’re wearing at the time.
If you’re not in ChromieTime Wrath, I think it should be do-able from level 40, but I’m not sure.
Trial of the Champion is a special case. At 50, you will be well advised to get on your horse with your lance, tell the herald to start, and then immediately Exit the horse and fight them on foot with your own abilities. You might get stunned once or twice, but it’s much better than that vehicle combat.
Other tips … why are you doing them? What are you looking for? No pets or toys, and I think only two possible mounts from there. Nice transmog.
All dungeons but ToC are just walk in and kill stuff. No special things needed.
Oh, except Oculus. Trauma always blots out the memory of that one for me. The drake fights are … well, you’ll like them or you won’t.
You can set Normal or Heroic Dungeon Difficuly from the menu that pops out when you right-click your character’s portrait, before you enter the dungeon.
If you choose Normal, you can run the dungeon up to 10 times an hour. You might do this if you are looking for a transmog piece.
But you can run each dungeon only once a day on Heroic.
The reason I want to do these instances is to show them to my son as a history lesson on where I ended my first WoW experience. Oh and it helps his lvl 29 gear as well.
