I so wish my priest could be a lightforged dranei, but to be bereft of any real DPS spec is just not possible to play with…
One glyph could sort it out… Just glyph the shadowform to “lightform” or something… and all shadowspells would be light themed instead…
Would not only fit lightforged draenei, but also crazy zealot human priests like the scarlet crusade type of chars

Shadow/Void priest theme never liked it
Shadow/Void is okay for chars that it fits, but it does not fit ALL chars… and for those it does not fit it is a bit hard to not be able to have a DPS spec.

I’ve always felt like after the death of shockadin WoW has always needed a holy dps caster. Idk why but smiting your foes with holy light always seemed much more appealing to me rather than doing some void tentacle shenanigans.

But if you change your spells to HOLY and even if you are mad holy priest doing mad holy things
you can’t call that spec SHADOW PRIEST anymore

I feel like it would be cool with a story line similar to the warlock green fire quest where you go through this whole epic quest chain, complete some kind of trial at the end and then the reward is your shadow-abilities becoming light.
Tbh I don’t really understand why they haven’t implemented more of these things.
On a side note I would love a similar quest to give warlocks purple fire, void flames, that would be rly cool, and then the option to switch between the colors at will by talking to an NPC once you’ve unlocked them with each quest.

Yes. I have the lightspawn glyph… I also always pick “purge the wicket” talent for replacing shadow word pain with somthetinhg more holy when I play Disc.
But I cannot go DISC if I need to DPS.
They need to stop making allied races and make class skins with spell visual options instead.

Well, that IS kind what they have done is it not ?
Allied races was kinda BFA’s thing, then they stopped, and in Sahdowlands they insted updated the customization options to include a lot more options.
I think that if dark irons were not introduced as an allied race in BFA they would just been included as customize options now.
And I guess customization works better… You could still have unlock questlines to unlock the options…
If I could choose I kinda wished that they just removed the allied races today( The ones that are just a subrace) and just merged them into the existing ones…
Like vulpera would have to continue to exist, since they are a compleetly seperate race
I was so sad when kul’tirans didn’t get warlocks with drust constructs for demons. Would have been really neat.

That would actually be so cool, remmember in mop how warlocks got that fel fire quest chain, I always viewed that as so unique and cool, I would love to see more kind of this stuff, as now lore expanded and there are more kinds of magic schools or ‘‘combined’’ for example there was Ebonbolt mage spell back in legion which was considered ‘‘Shadowfrost’’ I think shadow priests being zealots would fit too, theres no need to always be associated with the void to be evil, and now as we see the light in other ‘‘Light’’ not just being there to heal, but to wound or ‘‘purify’’.

Shadow is different than void though. I don’t understand why they would change it so radically.
