Like Hellfire, you’d have to go in melee range, the spell itself would drain your HP as you use it, but it would deal a hell of a lot of damage!
Like for example sacrifice 10% of your total HP to deal that amount in damage to all enemies in a 10yards range around you every second. Channeled, lasts until cancelled.
It would be a very risky, easily suicidal skill in m+ for example, but it would also be the best AoE skill period. It would provide interesting gameplay, doing so much aoe dmg at the risk of suddenly exploding and dying!
Bane of Havoc would also have made for an excellent pve skill from Conflict and Strife…
jokes aside,you can sacrifice a little bit of singe target and take beam essence,that way you get allot of aoe dmg,take essence of protocol as minor aswell
I’d like blizz to remove rain of fire and replace it with fire and brimstone…
Feels so bad to have a groumd target aoe that mobs just get kited through
