Instead of races that most players have been asking for for years, like Gnolls, Ogres, Ethereals, Amani… you add one that nobody knows, that most people never asked for, and one of the most irrelevant and forgettable. Who’s making the decisions up there? Honestly, I would have preferred some Void Dwarves.

I agree. I would be one of the very few who would play them (just like Earthen). 
They want to use the troll/nelf skeleton, that’s why.
I for a fact will never use this race, looks terrible.

for a simple adventurer racials don’t matter that much
for hardcore pusher no matter what new race they’ll introduce, they’ll always go what sims and numbers say
… anyway for Earthen, constant well fed (gold save on food) is good racial + 10% base armor from equipped items is also good

I played TWW, and that race was one of the most forgettable things that happened there.
As you said, their story is not even over and they are putting it as a race, having races with more compelling and more in deepth lore like Sethrak, Amani, Gnolls, Ogres, Ethereals…
Why would you put that one first? People were asking for years for Ogres, Gnolls and the rest of the races i mentioned before.

Hate to say it but I think it looks terrible, dont know what to make of it. I would rather play tauren male mage than try think what I would play with those. Only class that would even make sense from that Avatar race would be druid and aslong as shadowmeld exists then there is no point. Another new race I will never play, thanks.
