[IC] Public Service Announcement - Infested Cloaks

We discussed it but you just said it ain’t real / conspiracy / not enough proof when shown. I consider a member from your guild saying contacting GM’s to petition members from my guild should be banned is condemnation enough. That, and we were shown these by a member of your guild, who told us there was coordinated GM tickets being sent; which I wanted clarity from you. But I just got told that screencap simply not enough evidence and I was just fabricating things instead.

The nature of it is all very weird, we were then informed about this reporting incident was also being celebrated (when they thought he got banned).

Personally if I was shown a screencap of someone saying they were trying to get you banned in my guild chat I would have them told off, and make sure they apologise to you, I may have just straight up kicked them for being a moron. The tragedy of it all is we didn’t even get an apology from the main guy who said he was organizing the GM tickets. Instead I recall I was simply told there’s nothing to be done about it.

It was that reason, and the weird OOC behaviour against us in Drums of War, that we decided if we can’t get a basic sorry about it then it’s simply not worth pursuing. There are members in your guild who keep being rude to us, as this thread shows that, and that behaviour bleeds into in-character roleplay and has shown going along with IC conflict with OOC issues is really bad for any form of roleplay.

With little r.e getting it resolved the first couple of times my avoid policy is simply the last choice I have.

This whole discussion can pretty much be considered a re-hash of the previous discussion we had in private, so I can’t really give you a different answer so long as you insist on using what few screenshots that were taken. None of which implied any of the things you are insinuating. You are more than welcome to replicate said screenshots, but you will find quite little in them to imply otherwise to anyone. As such, no apology was given because there were simply no attempts at getting anyone banned. We can keep on arguing this fact over and over, but lacking any actual arguments from your end rather than wild accusations, I think we’ve hit a dead end here. If you really had more insightful proof than what little was given, I trust you would have offered it to me by now.

Rather than to derail the topic (even though I’m sure it’s a great way to keep on bumping the thread, so this will likely be my last response on it lacking any more insightful replies), you could have contacted me on this matter over any of the previous months following the initial discussion. You did not. Instead, it’s brought up in the midst of an entirely different discussion altogether. If this truly was an open issue that you feel is unresolved (and you have a desire to resolve it rather than to just dig it up from the archives whenever it appears convenient to use), you were welcome to contact me at any point.

I believe this very thread shows that any “weird OOC behavior” and rudeness is certainly no one-way traffic. I will be the first to admit that there have been some members (though far fewer than some like to imply) who had an issue with your own in the past, but there have been just as many from your own guild that we were able to RP with perfectly fine. That is, before members of your guild were - apparently - told to no longer interact with us as well. As mentioned before, that is your prerogative, of course. But simply not something I will enforce myself.

Having said all that, mass-ignoring a guild is certainly far from the last choice that you have, given that I have stated several times that I am open to resolving whatever issue seems to remain. That particular, little status quo is simply the result of choosing not to contact me any further after the last reply that I gave to you those many months ago. Feel free to contact me any time you still wish to properly resolve it. I will try to refrain from any further comments on the matter for the sake of not derailing this topic any further.

A man denying one of his members organized GM petitions to get a member from my guild banned when it is displayed in the screencap is as bright as day, I don’t see what the point is denying the validity of it is about.

You were contacted three times, I was given the same rhetoric. Its been shown to me nothing will be done, or can be done because you don’t really want to. The speech is entirely PR management.

If I cannot simply get a ‘sorry’ from this guy I might as well try to bleed a stone, and I will return to ceasing communication until there’s some recognition made. In fact that’s what I was doing, until altposters from your guild begin telling people they suck Perroy off in this thread (or accusing them of metagaming etc).

What? Did the Alliance’s well formed strategy to infuriate the citizens of Orgrimmar with an infestation of whoopee cushions not get through the planning committee?

Jesus christ.

Considering the lack of brown cloaks around the city nowadays, I would call the impact of this public service announcement a succes.

Now we just need a PSA regarding folk who have removed their shoulder armor.
