Rather disappointing to see such hostile nit picking when any genuine question or point was or has been raised.

For my own state of confusion it was regarding the sense in continuing what may be perceived as meta by acknowledging ‘it’, what ever ‘it’ may be.

But you’re right, the city primarily occupied by a people that ride and live with hundreds of giant hairy canines, has a great many reasons to worry about lice and fleas. It’s an itch we just can’t scratch.

Well that’s a very good blind spot in regards of the original letter (That most people might not worry about lice). That people have little to worry about in regards of lice anyways. How can you use that further along? Think on it, make something great out of the idea and make great RP with it! Things like these can be brought IC very well and might help the guys with the cowls / brown cloaks so they ain’t shunned or whatever! (Sorry for being so out of context, REALLY not sure of what’s going on in Horde RP outside of what I am reading here)

Most the responses were pretty civil and responded to your points with a fair answer. But I guess it’s more convenient to only pay attention to the uncivil ones, that way you don’t have to respond.

Good pun but also I replied to you pretty comprehensively - if you take a moment to read my post you might see that your accusation in the previous post isn’t really one that applies here (unless, again, you think that Saurfang is the sole way a brown cloak/hood can be obtained in this setting. I notice you have one equipped…)

I don’t even know what this part means, sorry. What is “it”?

As an example, in London there are 1.1 dogs per household which I imagine is more canines that Orgrimmar by several orders of magnitude, but I don’t think it is necessarily socially acceptable to be covered in lice there. That is obviously a real-world example that may not apply to Azeroth, but even so an undead may have different opinions re. being infested in lice (coming from the relatively dogless Undercity) than a native of Orgrimmar, and that IC bias may be reflected in the (IC!) post

I don’t mind if you roleplay your orc as heavily lice-infested because of all the worgs and I don’t have any OOC aversions to people playing pro-lice characters like yours might very well be (because of all the canines). It’s a pretty unique concept

I don’t see why people have to bash a fun RP opportunity. It’s especially odd that most bashing it are Alliance, like, you guys aren’t even Horde, why are you mad?

I…doubt many people are mad personally. But I also think that both Horde AND Alliance make up for the whole RP community. So if they wanna see how it turns out, why not? I’ve not personally bashed anything. And forums are open to all. People also maybe have alts? And those alts could be Horde. Think people are just curious ^^, I personally am!

Dude, I don’t know about you but Yue would freak if they started getting lice / fleas from living in Orgrimmar — it’d deffo. make her regret siding w/ the Horde, even more-so than the war does. Pandaren have so much fur it’d be untenable to exist in the city, honestly.

I have it on good authority that this licen menace is orchestrated by the gnomes. Are there no lows the Alliance isn’t willing to lower itself to…?

Just right under Winter’s Veil too. Whatever will Little Timroth think when his new warm cloak is taken from him due to nefarious Gnomish schemes?

I can validate this. I was walking down a path recently and definitely heard a gnome (nasty creatures) say “I sure am glad we went ahead with licing orgrimmar fellow gnome!” to which another gnome replied “Yes, we need to make sure they are as uncomfortable as possible. Thanks to the lice, you see.”

People are just annoyed to see a bunch of people jump in with a bunch of negativity not out of any genuine concern, but just to get revenge on some imagined insults from the past. It gets tiring to have people come in and try to concern troll every thread Perroy opens. It junks up the forums and is just generally toxic behaviour that nobody on this server should want.
