We are not exploiting a sh1t, we aren’t a hardcorde guild that clears ICC in 2h in a single day, we are just trying to progress and play the game with our friends. Yesterday afternoon we checked the save and was reseted again, but at night it was fine (prob blizz fixed this?), hope this keep fixed until monday atleast.
Yes, but re-doing the bosses is considered exploiting to blizzard as they are incapable of properly running the game. You will get way more loot than other ppl and they do not like that.

Seems Blizzard doesn’t really care at all.
+1 happened during togc release, got extra lockouts on several characters.
Blizzard customer support is the same as Amazon customer support - they are not intended to help you with anything, or respond in a useful way. They are only there to take up your time with pointless bantha poodoo so that you either give up and accept whatever unfortunate fate has befallen you, or request a refund.
Because of that, anything customer support says should never, ever be considered as truth. Especially on Amazon - if you are only asking about something (such as marketplace rule clarifications or anything else that only requires them to respond and not actually do anything) they will generally try to tell you what you want to hear. This is bad, because by following that you might be potentially breaking rules. If you ask them for something that requires action they will always stall for time, until you either forget about it, give up, or force them to respond that everything is fine and they don’t see any problems.
Customer support employees are essentially bots or bot trainers - they reinterpret your question into a bot query, input query into the bot and then paste the bot’s answer. They are never held responsible for any of the replies, because the reply is not even theirs.

Same thing happened for us also, last 2 weeks. We also raised it as a bug but someone mentioned to me that is likely that someone in the raid is exploiting, his guild got a temp ban for it. Is it still happening for you guys or figured out what the heck was up?
i would advise people to keep this to themselves and only contact blizz thru direct channels like the in game support. It is still very unlikely to help you in anyway but it’s less likely to punish you for exploitation if you don’t make it public
It happened there with a bug specific to TOGC when swapping Normal/HC difficulty between bosses.
It didn’t happen in Ulduar, so it’s unlikely it’d be around still and only triggered by 1 dad-guild trying to progress.
It honestly sounds more like they just go raiding the evening before reset and are suprised week after week when the reset happens as planned.
If it was this easy to cause the bug, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany people would be doing it as the first few bosses drop juicy/big ticket items like DBW and other BiS stuff.
Imagine complaining about free loot.
Martowgar & Gunship HC are the easiest HM’s and drop very good loot for several classes.
If you don’t want 2x loot every reset then just switch raid day?

nope, if you check there are multiple chars with multiple kills on the same bosses in the same week, so he’s deff saying the truth, there is an exploit and someone is surely abusing it
I kinda agree, this does not seem like something that just happens to everyone (we raid wednesdays and sundays and have not experienced it), so I think it would be important to determine what causes this to happen.
Happened to our guild last night. Half of the raid had their lockout reset, including the people that always invite so we had to make someone with a lockout the leader and enter first.
This is a rare bug that also happened on retail at the start of BFA. I myself was in a raid lockout that literally reset back to 0 bosses killed the same night.
The bosses also dropped loot again but we ignored / deleted it. This was mythic difficulty.
It happening that often seems kind of odd though!
