has anyone been able to get 30 stacks of necrotic plague? mine stops at 12 and resets afterwards
I ve done that achievement recently in both 10 and 25. The only problem you can have is that there is not enough adds to carry the plaugue. So make sure there are tons of small adds. Big one you can kill, they are useless because they have too much hp for plague to kill them. Also bring a person who can dispel, because dispelled plague gains 1 stack and you need it to always be on adds, not you.
Also having Instance Achievement Tracker addon helps.
Yep, got it a few weeks ago in a group on 25man and solo as a Hunter on 10
Dispelling actually removes one stack, but then forces it to jump to another target! But yes, this achievement should still be obtainable. As the name suggests though, it does take a while!
necrotic plague resets automaticly after 15 stacks no matter how many adds are after me or if they even would be dead, they chase me and it keeps building up to 15 but nothing after that.
should clarify that the 15 stacks repeat on adds after the timer has run down untill they die and wont transfer over to me
just completed the fight with 34 stacks but didnt get the achivement got the achivement on another alt. thank fu…
I agree on most apart from killing the big guys, when the plague stacks so does the damage and with the big dudes you keep the plague alive for longer. Early on its just about damaging them down enough for the plague to finish them off.
You do need exactly 30 stacks at one point. It is possible that the stacks went from 29 to 31, at which point you’d need to dispel the plague for -1 stack (bringing it to exactly 30). Once you’ve had 30, it no longer matters where it’s at so you can kill with 34.
I did mine with more then 30+ stacks , i did it on 25 normal without any problem.
30+ stacks isn’t a problem, as long as the stacks were at exactly 30 at one point. If so, you can end the fight with 31, 34, 37, hell even 48 stacks for all I know.
