Hello, Ive beat ICC raid for the first time, hoping for some transmog items. After I defeated Lich King, I went down at the start of the raid and there are some dudes that sell class sets. I bought a sets for my priest called Relentless Gladiators Satin Armor and Crimson Acolyte Regalia. When I had them in my inventory, they were shown in my appearances, but when I wanted to sell them, I could only refund them and they dissapeared from my collection, and I have no idea why. Answers appreciated.
If I am not much mistaking you simply have to wait until the “refund timer” goes away. After that you can sell them for the gold value and retain the appearances.
Mog the sets to you and that binds them to you, once bound you can then sell them.
Alternatively wait an hour.
They disappeared from your collection because you refunded them, not sell them, so basically you don’t own them anymore; it’s like trading away a piece and losing the appearance. Just buy them back and either wait for the refund window to expire, or equip and then unequip them, that usually makes them count as owned; though I think some old sets don’t actually sell for gold anymore.
I tend to just leave the stuff in my bags until the timer goes. Putting them in void storage removes the timer but that costs gold.
Alright, thanks to everyone for quick responses!
if you got enchanting, then disenchanting works as well. Old expansion vendor stuff at some point can be disenchanted. I dont think its possible in legion or bfa with their vendors tho
Also note you need these pieces if you want to unlock the further tiers (different colours). So best keeping them in your bank and then getting some of those tokens from heroic and then the vendors will sell you the next tier for the lower piece of gear + the token.
Doesn’t it remove the refund timer if you equip them ?
Can’t remember last time how I managed to do it. Either by equipping them, or putting them in bank vault… or void storage ?
I’m sure there was a way not to wait an hour. Try any of the tips above.
you can also “favorite” items in your appearances tab and this sometimes removes the refund option.
but like Nimrhys said, if you want the other options of ICC sets (10N, 25N 25H) you will need the actual tier piece you bought (10N), along with a token dropped from end wing bosses to get the 25N set, then repeat this process to get the 25H set
Just delete them from your inventory instead of selling them back.
But you get some money back if you sell them. It’s not much but overtime it can add up.
^^ This. I want the gold
