I finished the quest where you kill the 12 skeleal warriors and planting the bombs in icecrown… is that it?? Is there no more quests???

We have only 3 daily quests for day

There are dailies. The only new quests will be next week at reset when we get the next set of dailies.

So far it’s been boring as hell and the “rewards” are barely worth it. The quests and rares are just tedious.

Is Nathanos one of these? Or is there a quest to kill him?
Do they appear on the map as a big skull or some such?

I’ve just done the regular quests so far and about to do the daily ones…

No, Nathanos spawm is like 1min.
It mean in Icecrown rares spawns so longer

You can hyperspawn the mobs and farm the scourgestones been doing that on all my alts.

Shame that the rewards are vastly inferior compared to WotLK event though.

OK. this wasn’t the most intuitive so for other’s benefit.
Nathanos is in Eastern Plaguelands (as a pally I had a good portal there with Order Hall). There is a quest to kill him given by a messenger in Stormwind Trade Distict next to the guy who sends you to Redridge for a report.
I had done the Icecrown quests (including the 3 dailies) and read somewhere that this is a pre-req for the Nathanos quest to appear.
Also Nat drops a weapon, I had my loot spec set wrong so got a prot mace, meh. Maybe next week I’ll get a 2h sword.

This assumes that you opened up the hidden areas like the Shadow Vault or what ever its called where you pick up daily quests in the zone. Plus the Storm Peaks quests. From where you were in Icecrown you move to the base of the Citidal and have your run in with the Lich King and then move to the dungeons. Also when Icecrown was in a later stage they introduced the arena training thingy place up on the right… Sorry haven’t been there for a few years. There was always a lot to do each day. But you did have to uncover the three or four hidden areas on the map to find the new quest hubs.

I didn’t know there was a quest so just went and killed him. I found the quest when I got back to SW. I had a weapon drop though, sadly, it was identical to the one I’m already using.

Get the handy notes addon, then this plugin: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/handynotes-scourge-invasion-of-shadowlands and look at the map… skulls marks where rares spawns.

just repeatable stuff each day or farming rares… pretty boring stuff if you ask me … not really a event…

Thanks for the tip.
I really wish we didn’t need add-ons for simple stuff like this which should be just baked into the game. If someone can make an add-on to do it without being paid to then someone at Blizzard who is paid to do stuff for the game could have done ti.

so went back this week to get a shield to go with the 1h mace.

Thanks the second 1h mace Nat, that will be really useful…

Would it be that difficult to put a little logic into these loot drops? Or maybe just give a few choices to pick what works?
I intend to play ret so not a big issue, but would have been nice to have the option to spec prot if I ran into a situation where it would be useful.

All of this is for the Wrath Icecrown campaign and nothing to do with the pre SL event.

And how was I supposed to know that. There is no reference in the OPs post which is what I read. I’ve never done any SL event, what ever that is, so how would I know. Sorry.
