I'd love to see a 2020 version of Outland

Playing through Draenor, I can’t help but imagine how much better Outland could look if the Devs had their modern tools for the realm. Like a Terokkar with the full scope of Shattrath’s ruins, all the Draenei ruins using the Draenei ruins models that they have from places like Mac’aree.

I just absolutely adore Outland as a location, but it just looks so much worse than it could have if it was made with actual modern technology.

Outland with updated graphics would look amazing! It still looks quite alright but nothing wrong with dreaming!

Hellfire skybox is still one of my favourites, it was so different from what we saw on Azeroth. Updated Zangarmarsh would be what I’d look forward to the most if it was ever going to a thing

I didn’t even think about Zangarmarsh, that zone would be amazing. The updated Zangar stuff from Draenor, plus updated modern Naga stuff from Legion/BfA as well as the WoD Draenei stuff would mean Blizz has all they need at this point.
And Hellfire would be brilliant too, honestly I don’t get why some people hate Hellfire, it and Zangarmarsh are the two best Outland zones in my opinion.

This is nice idea for some new zone content, if we ever get a WoD 2.0 or whatever, which sends us back to these zones but they would be in a different, updated area so the old Outland wouldn’t be effected. It would be nice to keep both versions in game.

Updated Netherstorm would just be so good !!

I hope they would rebuild the whole zone, but I can imagine there’s no time and resources for that.

I had figured since we’re going for the more cosmic warfare angle in Shadowlands that going back to Outland in future would definitely not be out of the question.

I love Netherstorm aesthetically, the whole place completely falling to pieces with the void going crazy on it is awesome

I love the old Nagrand so i will pass on it, and imo the new model Talbuk looks just ugly so no new model crap pls…

I really like your idea, however i am always torn between old and new graphics.
Personally, i would totally love a new Naxx themed raid maybe in Maldraxxus with updated graphics and such. However there is just something about old design, old graphics that i love so much. It’s the nostalgic feeling i guess.

It would be cool if u could choose these things in Options, like we had with old and new character models. I am still sad they removed that option.

You mean a 2020 version of Ashenvale, right?

Outland are best zones than Wod.

Since I really disliked Wod’s zones all look like half unfinish and half empty.
Only I liked Talador one.

TBC Nagrand look better than Wod’s Nagrand

I still wish new graphics for outland’s zones and NPCs!.

I just love everything about it tbh ,the first time i walked into The Botanica dungeon took my breath away and the little dome hubs just would look so great updated .

Frostfire Ridge look “fine” But, still feel half empty.
No much see forests or friendly NPCs’s houses

I dont like orge’s ugly rock houses

The big castle was intended to be the Horde stronghold, too bad they picked Trashran instead.

Tbh old graphics fits Outland better. It is meant to be a broken, alien world. And having Hellfire Peninsula being such a barren landscape thanks to its old graphics suits that perfectly, as soon as you enter for the first time something just feels off.

Imagation, if we get new graphics Hellfire Peninsula and see more clean skeletons in “street”

WoD could have been amazing. Bladespire citadel as a Horde capital, Karabor as an Alliance, and Shattrath as that expansions own version of Dalaran. But instead we got a sealed off Karabor, a useless Bladespire with nothing in it, and the outskirts of Shattrath.
And I’m not even gonna mention Farahlon. What we did get in WoD was cool zone-wise but there was so much more potential.

I would say the magic sealed Shattrath was a wasted oppurtunity, when we could have a WoD version of it.
