Just let people choose a spec from other classes (or maybe only leather wearers) available to their race…
And in shadowlands, give them an ingame reason to play trough the introduction zone with that class/spec

Well if i had to think up a new spec…
How about a bow wielding ranged class
That can change into demon form for mellee dps…
I don’t like this idea because there are so many balance issues, class flavor and choosing issues that it brings up that it’s never going to be an idea worth exploring imo.
However something like using Fel combined with Bows/Crossbows (similar to but NOT like Diablo III demon hunter), utilizing the FEL energies and chaos power into ranged weapons. That I feel like has a bit more sense than a Shaman demon hunter for example…
