Idea for alt character

Hello, Azeroth’s Champion and people of Alliance!

I’ve been foolin’ around with my Zandalari Hunter, and gearing him up like good casual without any guild, but after some time of grinding, which I love by default in games — like a good altoholic, I want to make new character, and I am bit conflicted.

You see, I am kinda WoW veteran with years of expierence, but never was dedicated for raiding 'n stuffs. Sure, right now I want to change that, and have some fun with getting items (last time, I enjoyed in WotLK or Legion), and I came up with some thoughts of making alt to unwind a bit and more. And here we go, 'cause I can’t make up my mind about what to choose… trully.

I am thinkin’ of getting back to DK after some years and expansions, but I am sceptical with this (post-Cata changes not my thing), or tring something new that I never tried before; Warrior, Priest, Mage, or Assasin Rogue (I have one, but it is Outlaw, and not fan of respec) It would’ve been easier if I have already idea for races. I struggle with such thing, ‘cause there are plenty in Horde to choose (There are 3 in Alliance I would play, but I don’t), and that’s making me headache. I do like makin’ lore friendly names etc. and my options I would go are; Mog’har Orc, Troll (even Zandalari, again), Nightborn, Goblin (female), Vulpera, or Forsaken. Of course, racials doesn’t matter to me, I preffer look or potential lore behind it.

If you read all of this, you are embodiment of chad person, trully. And thanks if anyone replies!

Unholy DK is quite strong atm, what’s wrong with it post cata? I’m thinking about creating one myself.
If you don’t mind pressing too many buttons and constantly collecting and spending combo points, rogue is a great class.
Shadow priest is another strong class atm.

For both yourself and OP, I would 100% recommend Unholy Death Knight. We are very strong at the moment.

The stars have aligned that allows some incredibly burst windows on single target. DPS drops hard outside of those windows but its not too much of a fuss. We are no slouch in AoE too.

Great utility and tbh to me its a great playstyle.

Well, it’s maybe due my nostalgic feelin’ towards Death Knight class as whole. Whacky build Blood with armor penetration, Unhole being kinda wacky with AoE and DOT’s, or even Frost spec being tank (till Cataclysm). I tried in WoD playing DK, but I felt it wasn’t my kinda thing with Frost, and Unhole seemed to be… ugh, I don’t know, losing that touch that I felt before? I don’t know how it was in practice, but I didn’t like changes post Cata.

And that depends. I am currently trying pressing more and more buttons as Hunter, 'cause I felt using only few buttons as less intresting, so I decided to practice a bit more with more actives etc. which brought my joy over 9000.

So it’s worth considering. I believe Forsaken would be nicely fit for shadow priest from lore perspective, which would be neat idea. Unless, there is better choice in terms of theme.

Hm, I might be willing to give an another trying out DK for current content. Last time it was a bit of Legion, but it might be interesting if you put that way. Only what’s left is race, which is also important to me from aesthetic reasons.

I have to admit — idea of seeing troll with two weapons and charging to battle like berserker is trully pleasing vision.
