This would give soooo much more customization for alts. Maybe one of my characters likes ponies, and wants to ride only them. Maybe one of them is a bug fan and wants the Ardenmoth, the Klaxxi spider, etc.
Honestly, I’d be so much fun, and doesn’t seem that hard to implement. It’s actually kinda surprising this isn’t already part of the game.
Someone could probably make an addon for this. Seems easy enough…
There already is an addon for this it’s called Personal Mount Favorites and still works in 9.1.
I would advise you to clear your current favourites before installing or it will make that list the default for all characters.
But having this be a default thing already in the game would be better.
edit: Also as with the current favourites it does automatically make you choose flying mounts whenever you’re in an area where flying is enabled which is kinda annoying. Would’ve been nice if you could make lists that would separate that as well.
I’d love to see this for Toys and Pets as well. Especially with the Hearthstone and Campfire toys, I like to use different ones for different characters. So for example, I use Akunda’s Firesticks with my Shaman, because it fits the class (It’s ignited by a lightning strike).
Atm, I either have to have basically every campfire toy I want to use favourited, so that I don’t have to dig through the entire toy box for them, or waste a precious action bar slot on each character. Having favourites be per character would be much easier.
