Dark Iron Loop of the Pit Fighter:

How to obtain:

Go to The Ring of Law in BRD.

Speak to High Justice Grimstone (You must not be in a party when you speak to him)

Choose the dialogue option that says :

“I care not for your laws Dark Iron, I seek only a challenge, send your worst.”

High Justic Grimstone will now teleport away

In 15 seconds ‘Shannox’ will appear.

Using careful use of your CD’s showing mastery of your class, you defeat him as he both fights you and tries to kite you around the arena.

At 5% Shannox will stun you and leave the arena through a fiery portal.

A chest will spawn in the centre of the ring, loot the chest for the ring: ‘Dark Iron Loop of the Law’'.

Brutehouse Manastorm’s Dampening Sigil:

How to obtain:

Go to Dalaran and speak to Archmage Ansirem Runeweaver

He will give you a violently shaking orb (that can be used as an off-hand), explaining that it was found in the ruins and seems to make the noise of a muffled shouting gnome. He wants you to see if, in your travels, you can find a way of releasing its magic.

Orb of Screeching Rage

BoP

Held In Off-Hand

Equip: Healing recieved reduced by 50%.

Use: Kick the orb to another player. It will always return to you.

“The muffled gnomish screaming deafens the concentration of nearby allies”

Go to Maraudon and go to fight Rotgrip.

You must tank Rotgrip with the orb in your off hand.

Everytime Rotgrip attacks you there will be a 25% chance this flavour text will appear:

“Rotgrips massive jaws bite down hard on the Orb of Screeching Rage, releasing the terrible magics within”

The orb will now be destroyed and you can equip something else in your off hand.

After the fight with Rotgrip is over a larger than normal Gnome in full Warrior Tier 6 will appear called ‘Brutehouse Manastorm’

Speak to Brutehouse and he will reward you with ‘Brutehouse Manastorm’s Dampenin’ Sigil’.

I made these items in an attempt to help with PVP balancing in a fun, SoD-like way.

My logic is that atm, Warriors and to a lesser extent Rogues are terrible in solo play, or at least feel really bad to play with all the range damage going around, especially dots as they rarely have a cast time.

BUT

Similarily Rogue and espiecally Warrior get more from group play, i.e. having a support/healer than almost any other class. So if you just buffed their damage resist or whatever then the solo players would be balanced but the group players would be uber buffed, and now every Warrior and healer duo would be able to 1v5 with ease.

So I’ve made the items for the solo player, the player that doesn’t play with anyone else but enjoys pvp, the player that doesn’t want to rely on literal divine intervention to survive a ranged onslaught or even a DoT.

So that’s why I’ve tried to make the items punish group play with the heal reduction but buff solo play with the more self reliant reductions elsewhere.

Thoughts are welcome, it’s just an idea.

Stop talking to yourself

My bad I forgot this was a forum in which only I exist

Idk if you know but Books exist if we want to read we can go read books instead of this stupid imaginary items

It is not stupid - it is just 10 times longer than it should be to make the same statements / suggestions

no one forced you to read anything, calm down lol

Yeah I get that, it was a short post originally but I got carried away lol

idea sounds interesting but im not sure how much rogues need help for solo content since they can always choose their battles but love the work you put in thinking ways to get it and everything hopefully blizz devs do something well thought of in the future
