Identity Crises Chromie missing from Valdrakken

Logged on my main and went to find Chromie to start the Identity Crises quest but shes not there near the fountain. She is not in the Seat of the Aspects either. Tried talking to Emberthol but no dialogue. I have completed the story right through the Emerald Dream.

The strange thing is the quest is available on my many alts and they havent done half as many quests as my main.

Not sure if its relavent or not but after checking the Sifting Sands, the temperal conflux and everywhere else i could think of its like Chromie has vanished from the dragon isles on my main. I am honestly baffled to say the least.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Long shots, but I can’t find anything else:

  1. Test whether you are marked for some of these quests. Type these into your chat box. If any returns True, we have a lead:

  1. Are you on any quest chain, like a Heritage quest chain, that could be interfering with Chromie’s appearance?

P.S. I just did it to try and get some ideas, and I nominate this quest chain for the most UNworthy, CRINGEworthy thing I have ever seen in a game. :roll_eyes:

Thankyou. The first command gave a true result the others nothing. I have currently no quests in my quest log so thats not the issue.

What im going to try is run through the quest line on one of my alts and see if i can figure it out from there.

So the game says you have completed the quest “Identity Crisis”

So the game believes you need to pick up the next quest here

Thanks as I already tried that, Emberthal in Valdrakken has no quest marker and no dialogue for me when I try to speak with her. No idea why either and as already mentioned my quest log is totally empty.

Appreciate the help but I don’t think Im going to bother figuring it out anymore. Too much of a headache.
