This thread is so wholesome, I love it. Horde ftw. <3

I don’t like their style. Spikes everywhere! :sob:

True! Now ther would be only Horde civil wars.

Which would be the same as now but without an Alliance playing the “good guy” part and complaining about not having relevance in the story and most of the Horde members (including the former Alliance races) taking some spotlight on it.

It’s a win-win situation!!

I’m all in into this new Horde.

Araphant approaches the other Alliance posters: Halasibel, Frozengrip, Northgrave, Anouk, Cyndane and Elyssarain. He turns and stands once again beside Frozengrip.

Frozengrip: Ugh… Look at them.

As she speaks, they witness Erevien looking over his shoulder and fully turning to address Wimbert. Frozengrip steps over to Araphant’s side.

Frozengrip: Already they headcanon against us. Seize this moment, Araphant.

Frozengrip leans towards him, firmly urging him.

Frozengrip: Dismantle the Horde.

Araphant thinks for a brief moment, then the determination of his decision becomes clear on his face.

Araphant: Guardsmen!

The soldiers raise their swords and shields as one. Frozengrip regards this with a look of satisfaction. As the soldiers begin marching forward in Araphant’s wake, Haiete looks on in confusion.

Haiete: Ara - what are you doing?

Araphant pauses just long enough to answer over his shoulder.

Araphant: What a Gilnean must do.

Horde side:

Erevien slightly walks past the posters of the Horde as he rejoins them: Zarao, Anaery, Sinelnell, Auela, Durlan and Hachak.
Wimbert looks to the Thalassian elf, addressing his back.
Wimbert: I know you guys don’t want to be the Red Alliance or something, but such a faction system would actually…

Erevien looks back over his shoulder.

Erevien: Yes, but it was you who didn’t trash Sylvanas during this forum madness.

Erevien turns around fully to speak to Wimbert.

Erevien: It was you that protected our honor against Alliance bias.

Erevien: From this day forward, Wimbert - If you lead, (Kneeling) I will follow. Also, Alliance bias.

To Wimbert’s stunned surprise, Erevien takes to one knee before him with his head bowed and the Felo’melorn set on the floor at his side.

Wimbert: I am not worthy…

Wimbert sounds unsure, but when he looks to the others, Hachak and Anaery bow to him. Sinelnell removes her hat and bows, while Zarao and Auela simply look nauseated. With this show of support, Wimbert’s acceptance grows firm.

Wimbert: But I will give my all.

Wimbert: (Bowing) For the Horde.

Wimbert bows to his companions, becoming the first gnome warchief.

Cinematic end:

Araphant approaches the Horde contingent; all he can see at the moment are the backs of the gathered orc soldiers.

Araphant: I will speak to your Warchief!

The orc soldiers step aside to reveal Wimbert in the center, with Erevien off and behind the gnome’s left shoulder. His face is in Araphant’s direction, but the front of his body is angled squarely, in deference, to face Wimbert. Araphant looks surprised.

Wimbert: I speak for the Horde.

Araphant’s eyes look over at Erevien’s face for a moment, who merely looks back at him: silent affirmation. The “Alliance bias” shirt is visible. Araphant returns his attention to Wimbert.

Araphant: Very well.

As Araphant next speaks, the camera shows Haiete, with the rest of the Alliance contingent a few feet behind him. He in turn is standing a few feet behind his mate and at an angle where he can see everything.

Araphant: The Horde has committed heinous headcanons, Wimbert.

Araphant glances down at the ground, then thrusts his sword into the wooden center of the room’s floor that he is standing on and approaches the new Warchief, who jumps onto a stool so Araphant can look him in the eye.

Araphant: But the strength and courage of the Horde has been demonstrated by your gnomish might and wit, Warchief.

Araphant says: From this day forth, the Alliance vows to stand with you against all foes.

Wimbert says: I accept your oath of loyalty. The Horde offers its protection… and expects your obedience.

Erevien says: For the Horde! Alliance bias!

Wimbert says: For the Horde!

Araphant says:: For the Horde!

Halasibel says: Continuity exists to enhance the story, not to tie the hands of the creator. For the Horde!

This is beautiful. I’m in tears of affection.

Sylvanas wouldn’t accept a makgora from Daddybear after her last attempt at fighting him. However, I’d hope Tyrande challenges her, who Sylvanas has never fought before, and she’s never seen her power, and loses to her instead. Kek.

Anyway, I can join the Horde and Alliance easily. Just give me a ring to put on it.

I’d marry the Warchief but she’s not my type… Too waily.
Maybe Lor’themar instead? I killed Liadrin in the warfront after all (or atleast put her out for a while). Now he’s all available again.

Warchief Wimbert is indeed available, I will inform him of your marriage proposition. A strong tie with the Kaldorei would benefit us all.

Plus he’s got that hot new model. Just needs a ring on it.

As long as you serve the Warchief, goat.

I am he that watches they. I am the fist of retribution. That which does quell the recalcitrant. Dare you defy the Warchief? Dare you face my merciless judgment?
