Also Wouldn’t Sylvanas execute the Alliance Leadership for their Crimes against her Halo? Well I’m sure Nathanos would at least.

If Malfurion does not use nature, she shouldn’t use her own powers. My money is on the giant shapeshifting bear.
But Mak’gora allows the use of magic.

Why wouldn’t he use it? Mak’gora allows magic. And if Malfurion can’t use nature magic then Sylvanas can’t use her magical banshee mumbo jumbo too.

yeah, yeah i do that too!
after i bull charge into battle, skewer a poor Alliance footman that got in the way, i yell at the other ones that were smart enough not to stand in the way of a charging tauren without proper blockade and yell:
“How dare you save yourselves from my horns?! CRIMINAL SCUM!”

If Malfurion challenges her, She’s allowed to set the terms of the Duel.
Mak’gora can allow the use of magic, yes.
But Would she?
And if she did?
Would Malf be able to beat her?
In a good War they Clash a few times, with no definitive Victor.
And I’m very certain Death magic is a Strong Counter to Malf’s Nature prowess.
Malfurion Also in Elegy send his farewells to Tyrande, because he was possibly!
And this is a speculation people before you Attack with the Hc word.

This is not a traditional 17th century France duel where you pick the weapons and the location. “Pistols at Tirisfal”. This is mak’gora, mak’gora has a preset set of rules.
In the game, Sylvanas is seen kneeling in front of Malfurion with much lower health.

But I’ll take the Novella’s over the rushed trash shown in War of Thorns 2 weeks event.
Which lacked a lot of things from the Story itself.
The Novella’s are far better documentet.

The novella is the novella, but in-game still counts for something. Further more, lorewise, Malfurion is a powerhouse of insane potential.

May I remind everyone that Uther told her that Arthas Reclaiming her would be far worse for the World, than him gaining the Hero pc and their Companions.
She Also went toe to toe with the Lich King.
Was shown to do just as good against him as Lady Jaina Proudmoore.
Sylvanas is no weakling no matter how much people wish to Down Play her.
She’s quit powerful on her own.
Not powerful enough to match the Night elf power Couple on her own.
But She has gone toe to toe with an entity more powerful than Malf and Lived.
And in game Malfurion is Shown and in the books to Avoid figther her as much as he can.

Got trashed. Comparing her to Jaina at this point also isn’t as valid, because current Jaina has the essence of the Thunder King in her staff. She did not have it in WOTLK.
Not true. He defeated Xavius, he forced Archimonde into retreating, he almost drowned an entire army when he lost control of his powers. And that was the War of the Ancients only.
In a one on one fair fight, Sylvanas wouldn’t stand a chance, Malfurion is on a completely different level.
I mean, Sylvanas definitely isn’t a weakling, but you are comparing her to one of the most powerful non-divine beings on Azeroth right now.
Yes and this wasn’t one. Which made Saurfangs decision to not finish Malfurion more stupid. It was a combat between two leaders on an open battlefield. You even see massacred grunts laying around who got killed previously.
Before Saurfang throws his axe Malfurion just stood up after Sylvanas send him flying through the air against a tree.

No one’s talking about the duel in Darkshore. We are talking about a potential 1 on 1. Further more, in Darkshore, Malfurion was much more tired then Sylvanas.
He spent most of the war cutting into the Horde’s ranks. All she did was hunt for him.
I also do not see how you can fully discount what we saw in-game. And that was Sylvanas with a “massacred” squadron of grunts dead around her, kneeling on front of him.
In the book, Malfurion is described as an entire battle-front by himself.
