why isn’t every AWC team an RMP team?
For the same reason you post this as a paladin? Because maybe some actually preffer to play other classes? And they enjoy playing those classes? And they became good at playing those classes because they play what they like? And they are not just “meta slaves” who switch their class each time according to “what’s best this season/xpansion”.If the game would be : "play what’s best now " then imagine what a fun pvp that would be. Tbh it’s way more rewarding getting a win as a non meta class than playing somethig just for the sake of climbing the ladder.

i didnt say it’s not sstrong but if it’s as good as people claim it is, then why AWC people, playing for money and fame, don’t pick RMP all the time? Most of the time it’s mage with some other dps… Like, the most pro players purposefully pick comps that are not super OP, according to the community. Why would you not play RMP if it’s #1 comp? It’s weird, that’s all.
have you considered the possibility that not every team has a player that can play rogue and therefore not the option to play rmp

either way, top players, if RMP was really so #1, would reroll rogue mage priest just so they are’t disadvantaged =P
Harder than it sounds. Wow pvp is not like any other esports where you can simply change your hero when the meta shifts. It takes 1-2 years even for a tournament player to master a class if he only plays that, and on the long term that strategy is not viable.
Who got to main rmp since forever is in a very sweet spot right now.
One very good example of how hard is to play different classes on god tier is Chas from Whaazz team. The dude plays priest but they still got another priest in the team? Why is that? Simply because the difference between a main priest and a multiclasser is still huge.
Rerolling is not an option in awc.
a good representation of how overtunned or undertunned some classes are is the ladder.
In a most ideal situation all specs/classes should be on the same % of representation but that s never the case.
You can check it up yourself. Just google top 3v3 ladder eu and count how many mages/rogues/priests are in the top 1000 and then make a percent out of it.
yeah but we don’t see which mage plays rmp and which goes for warr mage for example. or rogue SP etc

That is true, but having mages rogues and priests on high representation surely says something.
the only reason every team isn’t playing RMP is because fire mage/hpriest is such a disgustingly op combo on it’s own they don’t even need the rogue and get to play with their friends instead

According to stats hunters would be garbage but they dominate 2v2 so hard it’s unbelievable.
uh huh, a nitpicked scenario from NA i assume (in EU both fire mage and hpriest have positive winrates) with a whopping sample size of about 45 games and records like 22W-24L. i am now convinced that fire mage/hpriest is completely balanced and rogues are the problem. i was being gaslighted by rmp haters, but now you’ve opened my eyes!
anyway nerf ele shamans, they have 83% winrate in AWC and winrate is all i see
