If someone here likes affliction remember that you can play classic TBC SL/SL build that, in conjunction with wowtlk SL/SL iteration, is the most satisfying warlock build ever.

Also destro and demo lock are much better.

By level 62-64 you can take out max levels players no problem, you will feel the real power of the warlock class, the DOTS, the shadowbolt, your pets, what fear spell is all about (OP AS **** IN TBC XD) and understand why wow retails is dead for us, and always will be.

That’s the exact reason I won’t play tbc. Back then every one played what he wanted because we all were basically in love with the game. Now people just want to be the best, no matter the class, disgusting mindset will ruin their game experience but they don’t even realise it

Putting numbers away, look at warlock hard casts in TBC, and it’s all the same in SL, whereas all the other classes are flash lightning ninjas nowadays, but warlocks stuck in the past for some reason…

Warlock needs either a change in hard casting or improvement in survivability with less silence.

Imagine loving the game, imagine loving a specific spec no matter his strength ? Can you imagine that some old school people are still playing what they like ?

Imagine playing a spec because you find it fun and not because it’s strong ? Can you do that ?

I can understand Outlaw but Arms in SL is great, in bfa it had many flaws. I guess they tried to make Arms good for sl after bfa.

That’s why I used past tense, it’s not anymore for sure. It’s not a contest anyway. I re call aff being really good in legion and I still have nightmares from last BFA season destro.

Locks are always on the weak side at the start and low key op for last patch, it’s been like that for as long as I remember

I didn’t play lock in Legion in bfa because the Design was really bad and it is still bad. But I don’t like class hoping every season because I get bored by other classes.

And warlock want strong because of there own toolkit, it was because of borrowed powers. Where if you remove covenants arms would still be strong.

In Legion only Aff Lock good and that was only after the Nighthold overhaul. Prior to it all specs were garbage.

In BfA too all speca were garbage till Corruptions hit. Sure Destro became broken but i guess you didnt arena in season 1 BfA. Turbo was a free 2k.

Warlocks don’t scale well in PvP. Corruptions or overhaul when Nighthold came out has nothing to do with scaling.

Warlocks scale strongly with mastery, which is a stat ignored in PvP, thus the scaling doesn’t occure as people claim.

I did got duelist BFA s1 iirc, and I perfectly remember how aff was nearly unkillable at the very start of Legion with passive Soul Leech :slight_smile:

Wait, do you actually enjoy playing tbc SL+SL warlock? Like for real? Its probably the most boring gameplay warlock ever had. Sure warlock on retail sux major balls and is plagued by tryhard creative annoying mechanics that dont work outside of paper, but cmon, you dont want to play tbc SL+SL warlock.
