If the planned 11.1 changes go live, warrior will again be a liability instead of an asset in m+

  • according to the 11.1 patch notes, neither the arms nor the fury spec will receive anything good with regards to their viability or desirability in m+ groups - no lust/heroism, no combat res, no group supporting buff or outstanding utility etc. - this is, already, a major problem at the moment since melee classes like DKs, shamans, paladins, rogues outclass both warrior dps specs, especially arms, by a mile
  • nothing in the patch notes indicates that arms won’t be the worst mythic + spec again
  • for fury, the changes to Titan’s Torment is a massive nerf to the spec’s burst capabilities and might speccing into Odyn’s Fury a bad choice again because on it’s own the ability is very weak
  • the changes to Reinforced Plates won’t make dps warrior more noticeable durable as arms and fury are currently, and will remain, the least durable and most squishy specs in PvE - to elevate this, their active defensive abilities need to be buffed substantially and/or reduced in CD. For example having Rallying Cry on a 3 minute CD for a measly 10% more health for laughably 10 seconds is just absurd - and this ability is ALSO on a GCD, which makes it even worse - seriously, remove this ability, and nobody would even notice!
  • since Odyn’s Fury will be a bad choice node for fury if left in it’s current state, there will be builds without it, which is sad, since it’s a powerful and signature Fury ability as the devs call it
  • due to the changes in 11.1, spending the last point in the warrior talent tree will suddenly be really awkward
  • finally, the massive nerfs to protection warrior’s rage regeneration will be not only a massive nerfs to the specs damage, but also it’s overall viability in m+ content
